This Ghat ( bathing place) is in on the river the Ganga. It is very near to the electric burning place of Katwa which is locally called "Moraghat". This is a very beautiful place with its natural scenic beauty. The Katwa Municipality created a beautiful sitting park accross the bank of the river the Ganga with lighting facilities. Sitting on the bench of the river Ghat you feel a mental calmness. Many people of Katwa come here in the morning for morning walk and many people come here with their friends, family and kids and enjoy a lot in the afternoon. In the evening you also may come here to see the night view of the river Ganga and the Ghat also. I think to creat this river side sitting park is a great job done by Katwa Municipality.

Good place for evening hangout with friends.
Nicely maintained, you can spend time on the banks with family and friends. Sitting arrangements are there. I have seen rare gangetic dolphins (susuk mach) sitting on the banks and also taken photos of it. Totos are available from Katwa town to reach there. Burning furnaces are nearby and thats why it is called Moraghat.

Went for a small evening dine in. The restaurant ambience is perfect. Restaurant staffs are also well mannered. The only con I found is Parking. And also expect a delay in food delivery on typical busy days.
