Moonstone Hammock, Shelu - Campground in Karjat - Raigad, India

Had a lovely time with my wife and son here..the location is perfect with a river flowing bisides the property and trees all over. There is a swimming pool in the center of the property they have a few fun adventure activities like archery and rifle shooting which we all enjoyed and some activities for kids like zip line and rope bridge crossing that were fun. There was kayaking as well but we didn't want to leave the pool so we couldn't do that..the evening activities were great with the host starting up up with the karaoke with some great renditions of all time favorite songs and helping set the mood for the others to jump in and sing their hearts out..movie night was a real thrill the setting and the lighting just make it perfect for an evening with friends and family the food was great and they allow BYOB so it was fun!

We stayed for 3 nights during end Oct 2023. The riverside location is exotic. One wakes up to the serenity and freshness and the day is made then and there. However, frequent power cuts during the day are a norm and will ruin the experience if one plans on whiling away the afternoon at the camp itself. The generator for backup supply also packed up during our stay and required one full day of maintenance to be back on line. Saturday night was rendered memorable by the amazing band performance (however no performance was arranged for on Sunday since there were only 04 people left at the camp; lesson- Band is subject to tourist traffic). Food was fresh. There is however an immense scope of improvement in the maintenance of the tents and shanties. It is good to preserve the essence of camping but given the price of the stay, the interiors and bathroom fittings need refurbishment. The supervisor named Sabeer is enthusiastic and dedicated to his job. He kept us comfortable throughout our stay.

Perfect location for weekend gateway with amazing food, scenic view, best hospitality, cozy tents. One can do bunch of activities such as kayaking, rifle shooting, archery, zip lining, rope climbing etc. live music / karaoke nights on weekends. Best location with mixture of all the best things.

It was such a wonderful experience at Moonstone Hammock. The entire staff at the property were extremely sweet and ready to help. The entire property is extremely surreal and peaceful and we absolutely loved it. The food is superb and damn tasty too!

Had an amazing time at Moonstone Hammock. We had booked Forest Cabin with High Tea, Dinner and next day breakfast included in the package. The property was well maintained and clean, food was too delicious. There was a movie screening in cafe area at dusk. The restaurant gave us popcorn tub on the house to make our movie watching experience even more fun! Overall wonderful stay and would surely visit again soon!

The property is not far from city but still in a peaceful place. Location is very beautiful and close to nature..We loved the ambience... Compound was covered with lots of plants, greenery & River.Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Sabir & Pawan. The camp stay was very relaxing and peaceful. The host and every staff was very helpful. Karaoke night , movie night & Live music band was simply awesome!!! Food was very tasty, homely. I would highly recommend this place and I would definitely want to come back to this place again.

1. I had checked many options before Moonstone Hammock, and even though I finalized it, I was not sure but that was going to change. The moment we stepped into the property, it felt like a different place all together. This is not some traditional resort seeking attention but rather, it is a calling that brings you there. The word amazing would be underrated, I would say Divine, and that is my experience. 2. As soon as we headed to the reception counter, we were warmly greeted by Ashish, who guided us with everything needed for our overnight stay and even though we reached much before our check in time, we were made comfortable and honestly the place had its own vibes. We were also greeted by some lovely pets, Tara - the doggy and Kitty the cat. My kids were excited and their excitement was elevated with all this happening. Even on the next day, Ayaan who was handling the reception and service did a fabulous job just like Ashish. They connected with us, took our orders served us and their personality is enough to make the atmosphere fun. They were on their feet throughout. 3. It would not be fair of me to tell you all that we experienced until you actually visit Moonstone Hammock and experience for yourself. Hence, I will not be sharing any photos as I want that experience to remain mine and you need to get there and experience it for yourself. 4. Last but not the least, Akash who is the manager and in-charge of the Alibaug property, was so cool to talk to and very informative about things around. He has definitely worked hard at building this property to where it is with the concept, ambience, music, food and service which is not an easy task. But yet he was so calm and composed and I think this is what the place makes of you. You can be the most notorious person and yet the place will mellow you down, or you could be the most introvert and it will bring out the creativity in you. You seriously need to visit Moonstone Hammock not because of what I have reviewed here, but to find out for yourself. Disclaimer: I wasn't asked to leave a review, but I felt you people deserve to know and I needed to share my experience. My slogan to you will be this, "Go create your own experience # Moonstone Hammock" Pet lovers, you definitely have to go there, no excuses accepted. :)

It's a lovely place and an amazing stay to chill with either family or friends. The food is great, the vibe is amazing, the staff is helpful and the resort is definitely crazy. But the only problem is the road to reach this place, this is not quite fine and as it is a riverside resort it is quite inside with a kaccha road on the way.
