Mool Chand Hospital - Bus stop in New Delhi - South, India

I visited Moolchand as an outpatient, just to get a fairly specialised test done. What I saw of the hospital was pretty clean and good, and I was very impressed with the efficiency and professionalism of the technical staff who conducted my test.

This hospital should be taken off the panel of CGHS as it treats the beneficiaries very badly. It discriminates and makes the beneficiaries feel unwelcome. One does not know how the system of private hospitals getting on the panel of CGHS works, but the attitude of this hospital towards the CGHS beneficiaries makes one feel as if the hospital was forced to be on the CGHS panel and so it is at best in a most unwilling partnership with the CGHS. Can anyone throw some light on how the system of private hospitals getting on the panel of CGHS works please. Because this hospital treats it's CGHS pensioner beneficiaries very badly. There can be only one explanation for this - they have no choice but to take in CGHS pensioners whose transactions are cashless and they don't want patients who has this facility as they would like to take in only patients who pay cash upfront? Anyway had very bad experiences here.

I would never recommend this hospital especially for CGHS beneficiaries. I went there due to sudden chest pain of my mother. She got admitted there for 05 days. To my surprise, the doctor visited only once which was shocking, when asked about Dr's whereabouts, i was given excuses like today is gadhi's birthday, today is sunday and likewise..the shocking part is i had admitted my mother in emergency which required proper monitoring and take care, however, I'm sorry to say noone took care of my mom due to which i was compelled to discharge her without complete treatment. Support staff were also complete liars even they scare to call the doctors. Even they charged 24k for keeping her in isolation for two days. Practically no isolation at all, she was accompanied and kept with two more patients till covid result does not come.I had really a nasty experience in this hospital. I was really really disappointed with the service given by the hospital.

Very neat and clean hospital. Gastroenterologist Dr Harsh Kapoor, who took care of my treatment from start to finish was very positive, reassuring and highly professional. The excellent cleaning services in single Room number 817 was provided by Mr Sohan. The nursing staff was very cooperative and friendly but the ratio of nursing staff to patients needs to be improved.

Great hospital and very good doctors. My sister was brought in an emergency here as she was expecting a baby. Was highly impressed by the way they handled the situation and everything which once looked complicated went really smoothly, thanks to their prompt service. Really happy with everything that the hospital did whether it was the staff's behaviour or the doctors who attended my sister. Full marks to the hospital for their impeccable service!

Good experience. My mother was admitted for CKD treatment. The nursing staff was kind. The hospital could work on maintenance a bit.

A good hospital with some excellent doctors and ample parking space. I was hospitalised here so I can confirm this. However, what I disliked was that they charge a 2% bank fee on bill payment via cards! That's just unfathomable in today's age when the government is promoting cashless payments. For a 60K plus bill the 2% fee came out to be Rs 1100.

very bad hospital. My husband was constantly saying that LINTUS diabetes medicine does not suit me but doctor continued to gave him the same medicine. He was in hospital for four days. He did not get any sleep in ICU as it was very noisy place. the doctors in ICU were very young they were all engrossed in games and did not have manners to talk to an elderly 90 year old person. When the person refused to get his blood tested his hands were tied and blood was taken by force by these doctors. Dr. R.K. Meena was pathetic who was the doctor under whom my husband case was. We were charged 50000 just for shoes, masks, sheets etc. which are not refundable under mediclaim in just 4 days.
