Mookambika Devi Temple - Hindu temple in Palakkad, Halagur - Palakkad, India

It is only a short distance away from the highway and takes you through the middle of paddy fields giving stunning views. Was on a long drive and was feeling bad that i havent been able to go to Kollur for quite some time when i came across this temple by chance. It seems to be a pretty old temple that has seen better days with paddy fields beside it. Nonetheless there was a very peaceful, calm amd soothing atmosphere and we were lucky to see a graceful elephant.

Historic temple. No body knows the exact year of construction. There are old inscriptions. Divine experience.

Nice atmosphere.. Feeling blessed after visiting the temple... Beautiful nature around the temple...

I aim to go the temple 10 years before suddenly mookambika devi bless got in 2023 its powerful god.and life is changed .

Divine place unusually lovely

Very pained to see the current condition of the temple. Noone to clean the surroundings, the temple has a neglected look. Such a majestic place but discarded. Felt very sad

Calm and peaceful place away from the city. Temple is not crowded usually. Road access : 2 road entries available. One is via the road near to Kooliyankavu temple located on Kalappetty road. Second is via Mookambika temple road located opposite to Pankulam, Kulavanmokku. Both roads are narrow and can allow passage of one car only. Parking : 2 cars can park outside the temple maximum Accessibility : Wheelchair access not possible
