The food is just amazing. The best place to get north Indian food. The curries, starters almost everything is worth the penny. The cost is good too. Per person it'll come up to 150-200 each. Usually the best place to go with family friends & colleagues. They even serve food after 4pm, which is the best. In most of the places they shut the service after 3pm. I tried the Gobi Manchuri, Nan roti & paneer curry. It was the best. Definitely try out the place.
Situated a prime location. The food was delicious. The staffs were friendly. Ambience was okay. It's not an air conditioned restaurant. We ordered Butter Naan, butter chicken and Chicken Malai Tikka from the kebabs section. Chicken Malai tikka was on point. Perfectly seasoned. Butter was okay okay. Not the usual butter chicken from the north. Overall a good experience. Can visit.
This place would definitely set your mood for food. Every single item tried here has been the best so far. Their service is great, place is clean and don't get me started on how good the food is. You will definitely love it . A perfect place to quench my craving for North Indian food specially. And yes their staff is super friendly too. And everything is very decently priced. One more best thing is they provide half plate of each item as well . I am usually very choosy when it comes to eating outside but this place has amazed me and I am not even exaggerating it. Go and see for yourself!
So we were there for dinner on my Love Birthday. Though we had reserved the table, they made us wait for 10mins :-( Keeping that aside, we opted for their dinner. Am a veggie & really liked the French Fries & Panner Manchurian the starters they served. The different veg curries like baby corn masala, veg Hyderabadi, Paneer lababdar were finger licking good. Ended the meal with deserts. This resto is value for money. I will love to visit again...
Chicken tikka biriyani was good and portion size too. But was very much disappointed with the portion size of the non veg tandoori thali was not adequate. For 199 rs there was a tiny chicken tandoori piece and curry with 2 pieces in a small bowl, one tandoori roti, rice and a not at all good veg curry. It was totally not worth it
I recently dined at Mood for Food, and while I found the food to be enjoyable, I couldn't overlook the issues with portion size and waiting time that affected my overall experience. Let's start with the positive aspect--the taste and quality of the food. The dishes I tried at Mood for Food were undeniably delicious. The flavors were well-balanced, and the ingredients seemed fresh and thoughtfully combined. I appreciated the attention to detail in the culinary creations, which made each bite a pleasurable experience. However, my enthusiasm waned when it came to the portion sizes. Considering the prices charged, I expected more generous servings. The quantity of food served fell short of my expectations, leaving me feeling slightly unsatisfied. While I understand that some establishments focus on presentation and quality over quantity, it would be beneficial for Mood for Food to strike a better balance in this regard. Another area that could use improvement is the waiting time. I found myself waiting longer than anticipated for my order to be served. While it's understandable that a busy restaurant may experience delays, it would be beneficial for Mood for Food to manage their resources more efficiently and reduce the waiting time for customers. This aspect detracted from the overall dining experience and left me feeling impatient. Despite these shortcomings, it is important to acknowledge the quality of the food itself. The flavors and presentation were commendable, and it's evident that the chefs at Mood for Food have a strong culinary expertise. With some adjustments to portion sizes and waiting times, the overall experience at this establishment could be greatly improved. In conclusion, Mood for Food offers a tasty dining experience, but the quantity of food provided does not match the prices charged. Additionally, the waiting time can be a bit longer than desired. I would recommend this restaurant for those who prioritize taste and quality over quantity, but it's worth keeping in mind the areas that could benefit from enhancement
Mood for food is one hell of a North Indian restaurant right at the heart of Bengaluru. Their lunch non veg special thali at Rs199/- is a reasonable and very tasty buy, try their tandoori chicken, thick lassi and butter chicken. The host is easy to exchange a conversation with and understand their food if you're confused about what to eat! Good food = good mood hence proved.
Thanks to the rain place was not crowded and able to get a table without any wait.Extremely satisfied with the food. Ordered Non-veg platter which had good mix of tandoori chicken varieties and veggies. Took little time which we were informed about. Each had an unique flavour and enjoyed our dinner there. Highly recommend

Probably the best North Indian Food you can get in this area and extremely reasonably priced too. The food here tastes really homely and they give quite a lot of food even though they don't charge much. The paneer pararha here tastes awrosme and the
