Monsoon Grande Munnar - Resort hotel in Chithirapuram - Idukki, India

Rooms are good But little small in size. Cleanliness and hospitality is good. Service is a tad slow. Overall a great place to stay. The only drawback is the location, it's in the interior side you won't get anything nearby to eat and walk around. If it's late evening, the only option left with you is to eat in its restaurant. Restaurant food is good in taste but a bit on the higher side on the price list.

Very good service, food was really tasty , it's a bit inside from the main road. Other than that everything about the place is awesome. We got the tea garden facing room, had a pleasent view. I forgot my mobile and checked out, the staff called me up and informed me and even came till main road to return. So overall I would recommend the hotel for family stay.

We had an excellent stay at this property and had opted for the Tea plantation view room. Rooms were spacious and clean and comfortable. Tea/Coffee, Towels and Toiletries were available. There is also free Wi-Fi. The best part of the room is the breath taking view both from the room and from the attached balcony. Hot water was available in the bathroom. Good breakfast was also served on the top floor of the hotel with multiple options. Staff is polite and helpful. There is ample parking space. Recommend

Great Great Great experience. Hotel is 11 kms away (towards Kochi) from Munnar main city centre. Located in between tea garden. - Elegant experience - Staff was very kind - They even talked to you in Hindi & English. - Room is decent, attracive. - Toilets, toiletries are neat & hygenic. - Restaurant at top floor with garden view & food quality was very good. IN ALL, ME & my Relative was very Happy to stay there. Very good hotel in mid of Tea Garden

Awesome location, service and food. Rooms whete descent but not that much wow when compared to a 4 star hotel. However the views from the balcony of this hotel is too good where tea valleys are spread everywhere. Some food items are too good such as Chicken Chatti Curry was so so tasty which we had with Tawa Roti. Avoid to order Naan as there is no Tandoor allowed in there kitchen so they will make the Naan on Tawa itself which doesn't give you feel of Naan. Hence, go for Tawa Roti which was thick like a Paratha.

Beautiful property situated amid tea gardens in Munnar. The view was beautiful, the rooms were clean and spacious. Service was good. Hotel staff was good and polite. Overall a good stay.

I had bad food poisoning while eating dinner at this hotel. Due to that issue my 2 day stay was spoiled. Room was nice but view of my room is facing a jackfruit tree

700 m inside from main road. And that road is very bad. Once someone goes inside they don't dare to go out for a normal thing. Hot water malfunctioned on day 1 and we had to take bath from cold water. Light insects filled the room at night ( roams are not sealed) Non AC rooms
