Monpalash Resort Baranti - Resort hotel in Barhanti - Purulia, India

The staffs are well behaved. Rooms are more or less clean. Located at five minutes walking distance from Baranti Lake . But the food served at lunch is the worst. The quality of rice is not at all good. Though the dinner is somewhat tasty as compared to lunch. The view of the resort is completely opposite as it shows in the pictures. Not a very good option to choose.

Already spent 1d1n / Depending upon that much experience I'll highlight the pro/con s. Pro-s Rooms are spacious Cleanliness in room 5* Washroom good , clean, geyser equipped. Bed linen & blanket good & absolutely clean. Nature within premises well Cons In this price you should expect electric kettle & tea kit, Wardrobe & waste bin absent. Garden is good but there are scopes of improvement No as such view of lake/Mountain from the property. Actually view is blocked by other properties Food is average. Rice quality is like mid day meal. Quantity was plenty. No issue regarding staff behaviour. But every time you have to be patient enough to get their services. We opted for veg.... Today will try for non-vegetarian. Will give further review after trying that....

What can I say about this place!!? I want to go again and again with my partner, we have spent lots of good and quality time over there .

Loved the hospitality. Debasis babu had been in regular touch over phone from start to finish of the trip. The couple of thing needs to be improved are the road towards the resort, and the parking space !!

Though it's being called as Monpalash Resort, we've been treated as a proper homestay. Small resort with limited accomodation but well mentainance. Very homely welcome and ambiance, with a garden. Not very professional but good and polite beheaviour of the stuffs. Only two local guys were there, they attend us all the time. And the thing need to be mentioned, the quality and taste of the food. Even though the quantity, as of meal system you can have as much as you want. We've been visited during the Durga Puja days in a package system per day per head basis for two days. We've got 4 meals with two times of tea. Don't know for the special session purpose or not, they cooked so well and also with proper amount of ingrediants. The das was really denced, and the alu posto had good amount of posto/poppy seeds. The location is also good, just a 5 minutes walking from the lake. The only con I found is the way to get there, there's no sign board at the entrance point from the main road. You can't even find getting into the narrow mud lane because it's located behind another resort. It gave us really a hardle at the very first time. Otherwise everything else was great.

The cottages are cozy with all the required stuffs.. Like geyser, TV, ample of charging points. The staff is friendly and would make sure ur needs are taken care of. Cheap to stay too aa we had spent 900/day including food four times a day which has non veg like chicken egg and fish included.. The best part what I encountered was one of our friends could not go at the last moment and we had cleared all the payments in advance. When asked to refund just the food money if possible.. The owner refunded the whole amount for the person. Humble person I would say. Must visit :)

Its a great enjoyment in the middle of a village surrounded by natural beauty and fresh air. The newly made cottages are great. The people who will give service are colocial, very friendly in nature. People should visit there in a group, with their families or friends, then the can feel the real excitement there.

The resort is quite good. located near from baranti lake(5 mins walking distance). Room & bathroom is clean. all the food served by the resort is very good except tea. tea was horrible. overall it was a good experience
