Monkey Mind Hostel - Backpacker Hostel in Margao - South Goa, India

The place is great for a budget. They even make you good breakfast. People are really sweet, so we were just two girls galloping around Goa and we did have reservations about the fact that this was a mixed hostel, but it was all cool. the rooms are cozy, only few metres from the Madgoa railway station. Overall great experience.

Loved the vibe and people around at this hostel. It was the best and shortest stay I've had. Thank you for hosting... The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the fellow travelers made the experience unforgettable. Can't wait to come back for another adventure!

What a place to stay! Amazing spacious room for individuals and groups traveling together. Cost per person is also quite less. This place is located on a hill with a small forest nearby. When i stayed here, there was an indian rock python lying near the hostel and then we called rescuers and they picked it up. That was an amazing wildlife experience. They also have board games and other indoor games if you ever feeling bored.

Average Place. Rooms are great. Bathrooms can be better. The backpacker hostel vibe here is missing as many guests here are staying from longer periods like months. Food options are limited but taste is good. The cost is also reasonable for both room and food. The place is lil offside to the actual happening part of the city but just a 10 min bus ride will land u there.

The location is excellent but they could keep it cleaner n maintain it better. Thr is scope for improvement in terms of hygeine n cleanliness. Facilities r great in terms of kitchen n water filter geyser etc. You can add screens to each bed in mixed dorms for privacy . Also bathrooms n toilets n common area needs staff to clean it . U can keep ur terrace clean as well. Basically needs organising n tidyness. Gud luck.

Amazing place very close to the station. You can cook, wash clothes and all home amenities available. Need to be at the hostel by 12am. Everything is nearby.

Quite far from beaches There were only two washrooms and those were common for everyone @ground floor Washrooms r not clean exhaust fan r not working in washroom Beds are soo unstable... beds were shaking when ppl r sleeping n it's make noise disturbing for others ppl in dorms

Met a few interesting people here. It was not as fancy looking but it is neat for most parts of the hostel. Not located at tourist place, but people who are traveling for a month or so within nearby areas can bunk here for decent cost.
