This beautiful serene place is just near to porbandar. Pure nature awaits to awestruck you. There are 3 bird watch towers bit not in a good shape. Once the monsoon drench this place it comes to life. The bird watching is a beautiful experience, you can never experience it than anywhere nearby. Most visit for nature lovers and birds watching. Asia's biggest wetland.

It might be a nice place to visit in Monsoon or just after it, but it isn't that pretty when I visited it in summer. There was absolutely no water and hence there's no chance of any Bird or animal to be seen there, better to visit in monsoon, is what a local told me when I had a chat with him...

Mokarsagar is very very beautiful and attractive place. In monsoon it's full of water and after monsoon very beautiful and new peaces of birds are coming here. Really it's a good place.

Best place for birding.. This wetland attracts wide varieties of migratory birds throughout the globe. Pelicans, cranes, flamingos, ducks, birds of prey etc can be seen here.
