Mohit Paying Guest House - Hotel in Khajuhi, Varanasi - Varanasi, India

This is a really wonderful guesthouse. If you are worrying about whether it is worth the travel into Varanasi - absolutely (and Sarnath in itself is such a great place to visit, you're in walking distance of all the main sights)! It's clean, comfortable and the rooftop area is a good place to hangout. The food is next level - some of the cheapest and nicest food we have been served in a guest house in India after travelling already for 6 weeks. The staff made our stay great. They really do deserve recognition for the hard work they put in, it was an extremely busy period for them but they were still helpful with transport, laundry and patient when we arrived later in the evening. Did I say you should try the food?! Can't praise this place highly enough.

The place is great. Service and people are all lovely. Only problem is the place where it is. The roads are not built but good thing is construction was happening so I hope the roads are built in some time. Overall should visit the place.

Non AC dorms , not super clean. Hot as hell. No AC dormitories. Few Basic facilities should be handy such as water cooler, I had to keep on bothering for water going in their home. Very far from places to visit in Varanasi.

Despite of Mohit ji initial conversation, he later asked us to leave around 10:00 AM. We asked if the check out time was 12:00 PM. He insisted us that the check out time was 10:00 AM. He further gave example of other hotels like SGT, pinnacle, etc. of their 10:00 AM checkout. I haven't seen any hotel or guest house whose checkout was 10:00 AM. As for the facility, the electricity kept on going off many times and the bathroom didn't have sufficient water facility. No towel, no soaps in the bathroom, no toilet paper. We had to adjust with the not so clean blanket. Not up to the expectation. Not recommended.

the owner was awesome and he had a secured bike parking place and the room was spacious and comfortable too. I enjoyed my stay.

This property is the resident of owner and the house is pretty big. Owner lives with his family and rest of the house he is renting as guest house or hostel. Mr. Mohit is a very nice person and helping and respectful to guests. Loved his behaviour. You can just feel like you are staying in your own home. That's the USP of this property. Lots of temples and to do are there in that area. Basically property is located in a locality. Benaras city is just 7-8 kms from there. Property is just 200 mts from airport highway. Overall great experience in cheapest price. Dormitory with 4 beds only 200 per 24 hrs.

It was really amazing place to stay in Sarnath. The room is amazing for single person. The owner Mohit Bhaiya is really very kind & helpful person, he'll provide all that thing which you need. The location is behind the Sarnath Stupa, upto 500-700 m from Sarnath Chauraha.
