Mohatadevi is the main deity of this temple, who is an incarnation of goddess Durga. The best time to visit here is winter season though I visited in the month of September it was raining that time. The overall views are quite good. I visited on Saturday and experienced there wasn't much Chaos. During navratra many people come here for religious pooja and darshan.
Very quiet and calm temple. Nicely maintained. They provide lunch in afternoon. They also have ample parking space.
The most loved temple by devotees in Ahmednagar district. Very much crowded in Navratri. On the first day of 10 days festival, more than 10000 devotees walk from nagar to mohota devi, many of them are with bare feet. This year, I also tried successfully, at the age of 55.
