Mohan's Courtyard - Hotel in Patiala - Patiala, India

Where should i start the disappointing experience i had during one night stay 1-2 Oct 2023. Rooms 2207 and 2206: Utterly pathetic rooms, seepage on rooftop and water dripping from roof. Wall Clock not working and nor was the AC remote. The bathroom had no lights and the shower mounted on roof was throwing droplets of water. The telephone in room was not working!!! Room Service: Highly irresponsive and carefree... Asked for towels and glasses... left unattended for 40 mins, ultimately had to go to the reception to ask for it. Restaurant: The food is fine but the hypocrisy of the staff and reception guys spoil it. Was informed that orders will not be accepted beyond 1030pm and lights will be off by 1100 pm, but was amazed to see that orders were being accepted till 11:15pm openly as walk in customers were coming and We were forced to eat cold food as I entered around 1035pm. Despite staying we were treated as if we were there for free. The room cards were deactivated from back end at 1100am without any intimation to us and we were forced to stay out of our rooms for 20 mins as master key could not be arranged. For this pathetic property, the hotel staff had charged the complete room rent on arrival so that i could not escape this place after seeing the pathetic condition of rooms and rude staff. When asked if i could document this feedback in hotel records, i was rudely told that there is no system of taking customer feedback. The policies drafted MP Singh who resides in Canada are only at the disposal of staff who run a flop show at Mohan Continental and not long enough before this place goes out of business. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED.. anyone can contact me for proofs of the claims made by me in this review !!

Very Poorly Maintained Hotel. Dampness was on walls of the room, made the room very suffocating, no ventilation, Literally ZERO ventilation in washrooms, The Water Jet wasnt working in the washroom. Colors TV is not the part of the "subscription plan", and nothing was done to subscribe the same by the hotel. Landline wasnt working, asked the Room service guy to get some room freshener, he didnt turn up until after 4-5hours. Poor management, all of the focus is on Mohan Continental i think, which is also a part of Mohans Courtyard. Lord knows why say the hotel is fully booked how do people manage with such poor management. Would not recommend.

They refused to give us bowls to eat gravy in. We had to use glasses to eat dal and raayta. Did not expect this We are a big group of people and have occupied almost all the rooms for the next 4 days, I don't think this is a fair way to treat the guests who are giving you so much business.

A perfect 3 star hotel. Value for money. Nice food

Hi everyone, So I would like to tell you about the management of this hotel. I got married on 28th November, 2022 in patiala. I booked this hotel for my guests who were arriving from Delhi. All my guests who stayed at this property were with families and single males(NOT UNMARRIED COUPLE WAS STAYING AT THIS PROPERTY). I paid this guy some advance in August,2022 for the rooms booked for November. This person started asking for money before my guests even arrived, my guests were suppose to stay in this hotel for 27 and 28th November, but this person started asking for room services bills of 27th November on 28th November morning itself. I told him that my guests are staying for another night, but this person never stopped. I told him that I would be paying your money before my guests check out on 29th November, we always pay for room services and the balance amount after we checkout from the property, I told him I'm getting married today but he kept on messaging me and asking for money on 28th November in the morning itself and spoiled my mood on the day of my marriage. Below I am attaching all the screenshots for your reference. I have never even seen Such a impatient, cheap management in my life. I request all of you to please stay away from this hotel and this property if you want to have a pleasant, happy stay in patiala. WORSE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!

Good location...decent rooms though a little small..food is exorbitantly costly...90 Rs for a cup of tea...c'mon..you are in Patiala and not a 5 Star..over ok if you don't take food there!

Pathetic services,rooms were dirty,staff was not at all coperative

The food is very delicious The rooms are spacious only you have to accomodate with bathroom but not that much . The service is good .Only the staff asks for too much of a tip
