Modi's Resort-Karjat - Resort hotel in Karjat, Wanjale - Raigad, India

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible resort, and it was nothing short of amazing. A perfect spot for exploration and a fantastic backdrop for a photoshoot. The food served at the resort was absolutely delightful just like home. Moreover, the level of hygiene maintained throughout the resort was impeccable. I'm already looking forward to my next visit with my family. It was an experience worth repeating. Highly recommend this resort for anyone seeking a wonderful getaway and a homely dining experience Also was lucky to meet Rachna ma'am during the stay.

I stayed with my family for 2 nights. Fantastic property, very helpful staff and delicious food. In some ways it's a 4 star experience in a homely ambience. Very personal touch to everything and great house keeping care. Management led by Amar gives attention to detail.

It was randomly that we booked with Dr Modi's resort for an unplanned break. We couldn't have been happier. The spread out campus, greenery all around, individual cottages, multiple activities, friendly staff and yummy and homely food ( though we are non vegetarians we didn't mind the veg-only fare), everything made our stay a pleasant one. We surely mins going back!!

Absolutely nothing like the pictures! Rooms are shabby at best. Poor looking, full of naftaline pills everywhere, shabby, old, hard stone beds. Honestly, looked like grandma's house in the countryside from a generation ago... Food is decent(ish) but don't expect a spread - a few modest options. Pool looks more shabby in reality - don't expect white nice sheets etc. A few plastic chairs... The property overall (the grounds) could definitely be cleaner. Staff nice, welcoming, friendly. We came, saw, cancelled our booking on the spot and got a full refund.

We planned our 2 day wedding at Dr Modi's resort. The venue could accommodate 80-100 people comfortably. There were many beautiful spots for various celebrations which could take in 250-300 guests. The scenic view from the pool site is perfect for a morning or evening event. The staff was very helpful and the food was amazing!

We went with our dogs and had a wonderful experience. Huge sprawling grass lawns for the dogs to run around in, great cottages and service and amazing veg food. We will definitely come again.

Very nice resort in Karjat with a very friendly staff and service. They have a vast property in idyllic, sylvan surroundings. You get delicious, home like veg and Gujarati meals. Buffet is also available Overall, an excellent place to unwind away from the city. Do visit

Dr. Modis Resort is a quaint family -run resort where the attention to details helps to make your holiday refreshing. The hospitality is very warm. The food is fresh and comforting like a home-cooked meal. Kudos to the team for putting together an inviting Indian BnB. Its a place for nature lovers with large open spaces for children to run around . It's easy to just fall in love with the place. Must visit
