For admission in this hostel you must fill an application form available at ayyankali bhavan vellayambalam and submit it into the same office. If you are selected they will be inform you through mobile number you are given in your application form.
The Hostel is managed by Kerala State Scheduled Caste development department exclusively for the students belongs to SC community. There are some seats reserved for General, OBC students. There is no direct admission to the hostel. Application for the admission can be collected from the hostel and it should submit along with the details of studies/College and category certificate. The allotment of rooms will be given only after a face to face meeting with the student and parent by the district officer. The hostel is one of the best in Trivandrum. Not too much crowded. Three students per room. Good food and amenities. A resident tutor/warden will be available in the hostel. Moreover, the hostel is fully sponsored by the SC department, Govt of Kerala.

Hostel is situated in the heart of the Trivandrum city (Vellayambalam). The house of the Governor of Kerala (RAJ BHAVAN) is situated near by the hostel.
