Mlamala Silver Waterfalls - Tourist attraction in thengakal - Idukki, India

Discovering these amazing waterfalls was a true adventure. The trek to reach them was challenging but absolutely worth it. The cascading waterfalls were a breathtaking sight, surrounded by lush greenery and a serene, untouched environment. This is the best water falls near Thekkady. The crowd is very less (max 25 to 30 people only on weekends), calm and peaceful. You can take bath for long time and relax yourself.

Superb place with lovely following water. One entry with steps till the river is private and offers changing rooms at a nominal 200/group, not sure about other entries. The river has to be crossed to reach the actual waterfall, and this was a bit scary because of the very slippery rocks and the fast flowing river. But once we reached, it was paradise!

Visually stunning. To reach the place you gotta travel a lil longer, climb down a few stairs and get to bathe and enjoy the falls. There is one home where they allow for changing wet clothes. During the rainy season June- August it's risky with flooding possibility.

Nice waterfall, In that place the water falls in two sides, one side is heavier (for risky lovers) , another side thin flow (for kids) . This falls makes a pool naturally, here we can enjoy the swimming . We had only one way to reach here .

It a small waterfalls located in a very remoted location. No tickets , No parking and no shops . We can just search the steps and get down to reach the Waterfalls. Its very difficult to take bathing here .
