Since, Fish Kabiraji has been one of the 'must try' dishes of Mitra cafe, I ordered a fish diamond kabiraji and a fish kabiraji along with egg chow. Some menu rate charts : Fish diamond kabiraji - 195 Fish kabiraji - 150 Egg chow - 140 Chicken hot & sour soup - 155 Fish fry - 110 Chicken cutlet - 110 All of the items were good in taste. The service was good too. The ambience of the restaurant was beautiful. All of the foods were served on time.

Fish kabiraji was amazing but machine coffee was terrible. They must change this asap. Cafe can't have terrible beverage.

All in very very good service persons are very coperative one manager specifically attended us and then comes the food we are awestruck with the quality of food very very tasty and best in the class.

I recently dined at this restaurant, and I must say, I was disappointed. Despite the positive reviews, the overall experience fell short of expectations. The cleanliness was a major issue, with poorly cleaned fiberglass materials being used throughout. The food, while decent, didn't live up to the hype. To make matters worse, we arrived on a Sunday at 8:34 pm, only to find out that the fish dish we were looking forward to was unavailable. It was a letdown.

Food is good.. my mom's one of the fav restaurants in Kolkata. The items are best and they serve good quality food.. We always order mutton handi whenever we are here but this time the quality of the mutton was not good. Irrespective of mentioning repeatedly to serve solid pieces only, they had served mutton with bones and fats. Hence I have given four stars

The journey of Mitra Cafe started in the year 1910 from outlet of Shobhabazar which was famous as cabin . Now they have many outlets. The must try dishes are Brain Chop, Gondhoraj lime chicken pakoras, Fish kabiraji, Diamond fish fry. You can try the kabab platter also.
