Just Awesome We had ordered One Portion of Biriyani but that's enough for Two persons. The taste is just awesome, Staff Behaviour and service is also very Good. But the seating Capacity should be increased. There are lots of people who were in the waiting queue.

I love all the snack items..... Specially fish items. I'm a weekly customer of this branch. For a regular lunch or dinner you may take their bengali thalis. I personally not recommend the biriyani and the Chinese items. Go for all bengali dishes.... These are too good. The staffs are efficient and generous. They just need to put some mocktails/flavoured soda items in their menu card.

A place which gives you kind of nostalgic vibes of Kolkata. Near Dumdum station, Good hospitality and behavior by Waiters, Food quality is very good - it's famous names speaks for itself, Maintained its originality and authenticity, Standard Price. Not a good fit for large group, Not enough space for movements.

This Mitra Cafe near the Dum Dum Station is a wholesome restaurant with good food and awesome service The Bengali Theme of this Restaurant is Great as well, with unique bengali designs decorated everywhere upon the yellow walls. Overall a Good Restaurant, especially for Fish Lovers!

U can entry here with a bengali vibes. Service is fast. Any fish items like fish kabiraji, fish fry, fish kaklet and many more r available here. And the test is just awesome. Must try " Macher banagali snacks"...

I took my friend there for an elaborate Aiburobhaat. We ordered Damodor Seth Mutton Thali. We were very disappointed. It was our worst experience in any restaurant. I went to this outlet of Mitra Cafe a few years back. I really loved the food they served that time. But it seems that the food quality has worsened. Poorly served food, unavailability of the food items mentioned in the menu card, aweful mutton curry all these made our experience pathetic.

I wanted to treat my dad to a Bengali lunch on Ashtami during Durgapuja 2023 (22nd October). So, I pre-planned by calling Mitra cafe and wanted to know how long the puja special thali will be available. They told me it will be available till 4 pm. At 2.30 pm I called them asking if it will be available and they said yes. So, we went there around 3 pm. After entering the waiter said Thali won't be available. So I ordered a la carte. Ordered the following: 1. Fish diamond fry- 225/- 2. Steamed rice- 115 per plate 3. Alu jhuri baja - 50 4. Chanar dalna -155 5. Pomfret - 325 6. Mung dal karaisuti narkel diye -75 7. Murgir jhol alu diye- 290 Review: Fish diamond fry: big size, taste was awesome Rice, dal and alu bhaja were the only dishes they could maintain good taste. Chanar dalna was too sweet as if it was chutney. Pomfret tasted bland. Murgir jhol was pathetic, they couldn't even make chicken soft. I have had lunch here before with chinese items and they tasted good, though it was 3 years ago. As per price the quality of most of the dishes was disappointing. Verdict: It would have been better if we ate at home. Simple dishes would taste so much better than their dishes. I won't go there anymore to eat Bengali food. Yes, their snacks are good (kabiraji, cutlet, fries). P. S. My dad saw them serving thali to another table after we finished eating. I don't have proof so I can't make accusations. But supposing that they had the veg thali and the other customers bought some dishes a la carte, they could have informed us that the veg thali was available, which they did not.

I have must say, I enjoyed every single bite of Diamond fish kabiraji. I had a 2 course meal. And another is chicken tandoori leg.Considering the quality, the price is reasonable.
