MISTY LAND natural park - Park in Oorakam - Malappuram, India

Just a small, but fun park on top of the hills. Entry fee is cheap at 20Rs, but everything else costs a fee of around 50-100Rs. The only thing worth doing is the chairlift or the "family rope rider" as they call it, and the glass bridge (100Rs), and maybe the mirror maze, which isn't that great but whatever. Everything else is just a gimmick and not worth spending money over, unless you're with a bunch of kids. In fact, if you're coming from a far away place, I'd recommend coming with family or kids as it's better suited for them. Various stalls selling street food is nice, if your stomach can handle it. We went at around 8pm and the crowd was still present, probably due to onam. Couldn't really appreciate the beauty of it as it was pretty crowded (there's only little space for 1-2 family at most) and due to loud music. Night sky was beautiful and the cool breeze definitely set up a calming atmosphere. I'd definitely recommend you to visit on weekdays away from peak hours, in the morning when you can really appreciate the view better. If you're able to put up with the obnoxious loud music and the crowd that never seems to go away it's a unique experience that's worth a visit. However, the way to reach this park is VERY treacherous and can be quite a dangerous and demanding task, for inexperienced drivers, especially at night, so be warned.

The view is great but the problem is that the park area is very small. There is an extra charge of 100 rupees to get on top of the glass bridge. Other than a few rides for children there's nothing else in the park. An underwhelming experience considering the treacherous-hole filled road which has to be taken to get here, especially in a car. Perhaps if they stopped the annoying music that they play here and embrace the nature, I wouldn't have felt this disconnected from the scenery which in all honesty is good.

Misty Land is a small natural park located in the Mini Ooty, known for its misty atmosphere in the mornings and evenings. It features a variety of playground equipment to encourage children to explore the outdoors. There is also a glass bridge that provides stunning views of the surrounding area. The best time to visit Misty Land is in the morning before 7 am and in the evening after 6 pm, when the fog has settled and the atmosphere is most magical.

Try to avoid visiting during peak hours and weekdays. This is a good place for a few hours and kindly do not have toouch of expectations. Located by Arimbra hills in Malappuram, this amazing place has great view from the top...Early mornings are the best time to visit as we can see the hillocks covered with cloud and mist...A cool breeze is felt in the place even during the summer season... Misty land park is an adventure park opened in mini ooty..They have amazing rides for both kids and adults and also zip line and glass bridge... A pet station is also present where we can feed the birds and fishes... Its an ideal place to enjoy for those who love fun and frolics.

It's a family park where you can very well enjoy your evening time here. The road nearby is not that good. Entry fee is 30 and you have to pay 100 for each inside thing. You also have to pay 100 for entering the glass bridge. It's too costly, you can enter an animal park here it will be good

A family kids spot in Malappuram district, Mini Ooty. A lot of families comes here, so that always crowded. Actually too much crowd in Weekend evenings. It is situated in a hill area called Mini Ooty, which is a picnic point in Malappuram. A lot of fun rides for kids in affordable prices, The entry fee is 20 per head. And for all the rides we have to pay extra. Swings for kids, Zip line, rope way, fish spa and lot of other activities are here, if you are coming with family, you can enjoy a nice evening here. I won't recommend that much because it's actually crowded all the evenings, and also hard to find a parking...they have parking spaces but it gets filled if you are coming after 4:00 pm. The main attraction is the glass bridge and they charge 100 per head. It has a nice view. Shops are inside the park, you can have Varieties of Ice Creams, Uppilittath, Juices and Burgers, pizzas also. Overall it is a nice place to spend an evening with family, the only drawback I can say is it is always crowded and the parking is a luck.

Firstly, I would say the safety measure overall needs to be improved which is the topmost priority. The number of people going to the park is increasing day by day, but do they follow enough safety measures or standards? Absolutely no. For a one time experience, it's okay.
