Only surviving darwaja in Palanpur yet it is not being maintained or even cleaned. Garbage being dumped next to it. Shame on the admin and people of Palanpur. Pics attached.
In the miraget we have seen so many garbage and it's a bachword area of our palanpur I request to our government to clean this historical place thank you..

Seven Darwaja in Palanpur
The seven darwaja, also known as the city gates, used to keep invaders out of the city. Delhi Darwaja, VirBai Darwaja, Shimla Darwaja, Meera Darwaja, Malan Darwaja, Gathaman Darwaja, and Saalampur were all titles given to gates that are now mainly in ruins.
It is a historical fort in Palanpur. The total of 7 forts are located in palanpur but the only fort is available till the date is Miraget fort.
Palanpur heritage..... Beautiful Miragate. About to disappear in few years. No hope from nagarpalica and other authorities. They can't protect it or renovate it...they can't make even good roads and drainage system...so this is heritage monument.
Vintage gate was built by Navab saheb of palanpur.. there are 7 gates in this city..best construction. Now at time it needs repair work..we should apeal government to maintain and renovation for our heritage culture buildings.
