Minto Opthalmic Hospital. Established in 1913. It was set up by the Mysore Maharaja and.... .....inaugurated by the British Viceroy, Earl of Minto. His photo at the entrance. The first Medical Superintendent was Dr. S.V. Ramaswamy Iyengar. And now it's Dr. Kalpana. The heritage building has been maintained well. Even the old railings still exist. The look has not been changed. The courtyard is still a herbal garden. There are two 'Ganda Berunda' sigils on... ......either side of the building. According to my research, the sigil is there on the railings too. But I could not find it.

Worst hospital I had never ever seen. Very irresponsible people. Simply walking here there wasting time. If u want to go there for treatment u have to waste bundle of days not only no of days & there they won't complete single patients also with responsible mind. I don't no what else our medical officers doing. For poor people who r going there & who have short time for there medical treatment. I would suggest plz don't go there. They don't concentrate on single patients also with a good manner. Time suckers.

Not bad hospital maintained well and doctors response also very good caring but the receptionist and other they need to change their behaviour and charector they r all feel like doctors

I have seen only PG doctors working in the hsptl lot more .. n consultants just come n go in middle..

All doctors come for a salary, not for service. They lack ethics; even if a patient is unable to stand, they won't show concern. There is a significant amount of negligence and irresponsibility. It's shame for all doctors who are all working in Minto hospital bangalore.

my grand ma was admit for eye operation attender is my sister. night shift security was harrasing every ladys and girls. even after complaint to the doctor he is doing the same thing management have to take action on him.

It's the worst faculty ever .. especially person name Jabivulla from Retina eye department .. even after doctors providing free consultation this person stressed us extremely by not providing the next doctor visit date .. if this this the case they should not provide us consultation and stress even more ... such a worst thing..

After going through these reviews planning to buy some loan and get my mother's cateract surgery done at private hospital, looks like no Minto doctors and adminstration read these reviews, as the name goes Govt they will make every possible effort to make it worst experience for poor and needy. God knows when these system will change.
