Since the 90's, this was the only go-to place for text books, school supplies, etc. Very polite staff. They always took orders for specific books and got them from kolkata college Street in 2-3 days. Best of all, Maa always bought story books for us, from their collection, every holiday season.

Mina book stall is one of the most reputed book stalls of Kalyani. Located in the B Block, it is famous for flaunting a superb wide collection of mainly textbooks. Thus, Mina book stall is a supplier of textbooks for various schools, including the Springdale High School and the Springdale Primary School. (Students from Springdale are instructed at the beginning of every session to collect books from Mina.) Also, exercise books are sold at Mina. However, stocking school stationeries is not the only job of Mina - it stores various other types of stationery items such as notepads, clips, boards, colours, et cetera. It also has a damn good collection of famous storybooks. But only one issue hinders the business of the stall - books are mostly overpriced. The MRP is often blacked out and replaced by a false, new printed MRP, higher than its actual price. Because of this reason, bookworms rather prefer a Calcutta book shop or a College street stall over this small but renowned book retailer of Kalyani.

Book collection should be increased and they should consider pricing little bit.

In early days of our school life in 1990s we had only two book stalls in Kalyani and the most famous was Mina Book. Friendly behaviour of the owner, staff and their great suggestions in time of choosing books had touched our heart always. In todays time also this is the best place for school books, story books, stationeries and all types of competitive question papers here in Kalyani. Its a must visit store for every student amd their families.
