MIGUEL ARCANJO - Restaurant in Benaulim - South Goa, India

Miguel Arcanjo, the Goan delicacy restaurant at Taj Exotica Resort and Spa, is a hidden gem worth exploring. The menu at Miguel Arcanjo may be a bit challenging to decipher if you're not familiar with Goan cuisine, but worry not! The chef is always on hand to assist you. We were fortunate to have the chef guide us through the menu. Her culinary skills shone as she prepared a delectable dinner for us, showcasing the rich flavors and textures of Goan cuisine. The restaurant's ambience exudes warmth and hospitality. Tables were well-arranged, creating an intimate and cozy atmosphere, enhanced by the soft candlelight.

This is restaurant at the ground floor in Taj Exotica. They have both indoor and outdoor seating available which is beautifully setup in the garden, part of the big lawns at Taj. It has a very nice and soothing vibe, with a full menu for food and drinks. The staff and service is lovely. We ordered a chicken Caesar salad, stuffed calamari, a beer and an Aperol Spritz. The salad was very tasty and fresh. The restaurant bar did not have Aperol but they arranged for it from the bar upstairs. Perks of being in Taj ha! If you are not staying at the hotel, I would note to avoid peak buffet hours where it can be busy.

We went here for dinner and the food was absolutely delicious. Their stuffed squid with garlic butter was melt in mouth and my absolute favorite. Cevin was the staff who served us. He was extremely friendly and helpful, he made sure to go beyond to make our evening special. I would highly recommend this place at Taj for nice dinner....

Chef Pornima puts on a fine show here at the Miguel Arcanjo. Delectable food from Goa, the Malabar Coast & some hints from African cuisine. Food is always a matter of personal taste, but I'll go ahead and recommend the Stuffed Squid, Thellacherry Prawns & The Lobster Peri Peri (the stuffed squid still remains in my taste memory....very very delicious) Being the Taj, the service is veeeerryyy hands on we felt like the center of the universe for a time (i think it's because we were the only ones there) The place has a very simple and clean setting, ideal for date lunches or dinners, because all the focus is on the diner and the food. Taking one star off from Atmosphere as the music could have been better. P.S. The cocktails are alright...wouldn't recommend breaking bank on anything fancy P.P.S - It's expensive....It's the Taj...Of course it's expensive

A fine dinning experience of Goan and Portuguese food. The service was excellent and so was the food. The place has a vibe that is unforgettable. The outside seating area is a must for dinner. The menu has a little twist to the authentic food but the taste was delicious too. Thank you Marlon D'Souza and other staff for taking care of us.

Great restaurant for local Goan and south indian food , they have choices for vegetarian guest also. We had Idiyappam and Exacuti , both were very tasty . Even the cocktails were nice.

We had dinner here on the 7th of May. Food was scrumptious, staff courtesy was the icing on the cake. The lady waiting on us even got blue cheese for my kiddo just coz he wanted to . All dishes and mock-tails we ordered were well crafted and tasty and delicious. Fresh food can be smelt way before it is tasted and left us satisfied. Thank you team for the wonderful service and food.

Had a wonderful experience with my girlfriend yesterday and celebrated her birthday here. The food is extremely delicious and more affordable than eating at a shack. The service is really personalised and the staff took care of every need. I cannot remember the namd of our server but I know he was from Siliguri. The menu is curated really well and the portion sizes are massive. Visiting again next week.
