Beautiful birds and lush green open landscapes along with huge water body for migratory birds. Beautiful feeling to spend time here. A better untouched Goa. Bird lovers paradise.
Hidden gem of Porvorim! Try to reach here before 12pm. Park your car besides the road and take a small lane in between the lake. There you will find variety of beautiful migratory and Indian species of birds like: Red wattled lapwing Wooley necked stork Black headed Ibis Greater Cormorants Indian cormorant Little Egret Snowy egret Blue tailed bee eater Grey heron Kingfisher American bittern Brahminy kite It is indeed a paradise for birdwatchers! But lot of bottles in some corner of the wetlands. Do carry your DSLR if you have. Don't throw waste! Keep Goa Clean!
A must visit if you're a tourist and also as a localite. It consists of beauty which is dry yet when you walk through the land it gives you peace.
It's a peaceful place to be. Nice view. What we hear at this place is only birds... Different species.. migrating birds... The best view in my view is during monsoons...
Nice place to relax and watch birds. Early morning or in the evening. Please keep the place clean and plastic free.
The place has lost its charm. Certainly limited possibility of capturing feathered friends. If you are an avid enthusiast then there are better location for bird watching. However, the place still retains some scenic beauty especially during monsoon. Have witnessed this place getting destroyed over time which is painful. Very good place to watch migratory Birds. A long stretch of empty road with marshy lands filled with water on both sides of the road. Amazing views while driving down the road, so breathtaking that you will stop there to admire the beauty. If you are a bird lover you will love this place as there is a variety of different types of birds here. Worth a visit during the day time and recommended by me.
Right next to the Houses Of Goa Museum, lies a gallery-meets-store dedicated to Goa's most celebrated artist, Mario Miranda. We say, when in North Goa, do stop by for a tour. You'll love how the whole space looks with its life-sized statues. Just a s
