excellent stay, room was clean, guest house near by the beach just 2 min walk, & service also good specially That Ganesh bhai who caretaker given best service for us... only one problem in our bathroom water pressure very slow so that you need to improve, else all good & fantastic.

Please don't go with what you see as 4/5 star reviews. Pathetic room and service. AC and refrigerator was not working and so was wifi. Experienced frequent power cuts also during the stay.

We saw the online ratings and booked the hotel. We paid Rs2000 for the rooms which are dead stinky. We were shown another room upon complain, condition was no different. The rooms haven't been opened in months it seemed. Forget about dusting. The window however could be opened, we opened the windows and waited for the stink to dissipate a bit and wasted our time in Goa doing so. The AC also didn't work obviously. The warm air and cold air, both were being outside the room. The breakfast was included in the deal, in the morning they don't have breakfast available. All they could offer is Bread-Jam. The beach is said to be 60m, but you have to walk a minimum of 400 m or drive 800m to reach the nearest beach. We should have booked a beach facing hut with better amenities for the same price instead of this one. The Big mirror in our room was however a lone plus point. Will not book it again.

We actually booked this location with the ratings it had. But it's all wrong. Very poor hospitality ever, Aniruddha Nambiar is the very worst manager, no light service, no generator, very dirty rooms and premises. We had an incident where at 12am power cut an till 5am we were sitting out in the premises without light. Manager Anirudh Nambiar didn't had any courtesy to answer the calls. We as family were outside whole night and the assistants informed that they don't have a generator also. Please don't visit this place or book.

The room was a clickbait for us from booking.com.. they downgraded the room at arrival by saying no other room was available. The standard room (ground floor) had the photos of the rooms which were on the first floor. Apart from that the rooms smelled like hell. No proper cleaning/dusting before arrival. We had to change bed sheets and covers thrice before we received usable ones. The solution for the smell was to "keep open door and windows" for hours. Bathroom size is also extremely small. Do not choose this hotel even if this is the last option. Bottom line: room was pathetic for the price we paid just bcoz it was a "peak season". It's not worth more than 500rs per night. Cheap Oyo hotel rooms might have better rooms than this ones. Please read other 1 star reviews of this hotel. seems like 5 & 4 star reviews were the paid ones.

Pros - 1. Pocket friendly 2. Very close to the beach 3.owner and caretaker both are friendly and helpful 4.huge rooms and bathroom with all modern facilities 5. Gives a very Portuguese colonial vibe 6. Safe ,free parking space 7. Excellent WiFi 8. Good cheap food with large portion Cons- to be honest ,nothing was bad about this place. Will surely stay again.

Guest house plus point is good location near beach & room size Good & specialy care taker Ganesh was excellent given hospitality. But minus point is Every morning water come slow & tv also not working & one more disappointed is owner take extra 600/- rupees, in already paid full payment for same room in which we seen in booking.com application in images. Otherwise we can visit again with family and friends if they solve thay all minus points. Thank you, Nirav Patil

It's good place to stay in candolim. It's nearby the beach and we can always walk down to the beach whenever we like. Caretaker Ganesh was really helpful with our requests. However, WIFI is really bad over here and also one would expect at least water refill while staying at any place but was not provided.
