MGT Tourist Home - Hotel in Kalpetta - Wayanad, India

Best catch for the best price. Decent rooms, well maintained, cleaned and spacious. TV with cable connection and washroom with geyser was a blessing. Hotel is in a central location to major tourist spots. Please do visit 'Lunch and Dine' that's situated within half a Km from the hotel for excellent food. Overall a very good location and Stay.

I must say this was a value for money, with Rs 750 per night. The hotel was clean expect the blanket, but they gave additional bed sheet on request. But there is no parking facility. You have to keep your vehicle on the road. and they say its road parking. And before booking we called the hotel and that time they said that proper parking is available.. and never said is just road parking. Only after reaching the hotel, we found out!! So if you SUV, please be aware. Anyway our expectation was not high as this a budget hotel. A decent for this budget.

MGT is residing in Kalpetta at center of the city. This is recommended for a quick check in. Room Quality: The room is well maintained and well furnished. There is a King size bed and well maintained. The wash room is also clean and nicely maintained. Plus you get hot water 24x7. Service: The service and hospitality of the receptionist was good. Food: This is a small Genuine Indian Coffee house nearby to carter the needs of breakfast with proper Kerala Dishes.

Perfect place to stay for a short duration. Good rooms with all basic amenities and a central location to major tourist spots in Wayanad. Since it lies exactly on a highway, there is excellent transport facility available provided one knows to speak local language.

I had visited Kalpetta with a few friends and stayed at this place for 2-3 days. The stay was pretty comfortable. The staff was very hospitable and the service was better than I expected. It's situated near the market and it was pretty close to our bus stop so that helped. Would definitely recommend it to people

We visited wayanad for a 4 day trip on 2015 newyear and chose MGT tourist home to stay... It proved to be the perfect location to stay once we started covering various locations. It's a spacious apartment with everything for a nice trip. You should definitely try the coffee with the home made coffee powder...
