MGM Vailankanni Residency - Hotel in Velankanni - Nagapattinam, India

Stayed here last week. We really loved the feel of the hotel. Very homely. Staff was supportive. Food was great. A little far from church but good if you want calmness. Rooms were super clean. Well maintained property. Thank you. Will definitely stay again

Nice prominent location, courteous front desk and room service personnel. The choice of food can be better for room service. The buffet breakfast wasn't matching the otherwise good stay. Poolside was refreshing. Ample car parking available on site.

Property is good, nice place for kids to run around, kids play is nice. Pool is well maintained and not crowded which was a big plus. Staff could be more emphatic. They seem to go by training knowledge only sadly.

We stayed here 3 nights! The staff are super nice... the service is excellent! Food is great... Rooms are neat.... Restaurant food is best and tasty... they also have a bar if you are interested in grabbing a drink! Thanks MGM!

Just had a bad experience of service and meals at the restaurant. Place is good. But meals are not delicious. Serving time is very bad.

Their restaurant "Virundhu" is the worst.If you go to the restaurant around 3 pm it will take 15 mins for the staff to notice us and even if they come to wait on us they will lethargically reply only 3 to 4 items are available and before we could place the order they just left to tend to clearing the tables rather than taking the order...we ordered the 3 items that were available - plain rice, king fish curry and curd rice. The rice was half cooked and we could taste the raw flavour of the masala/spices and when we complained about the same to the waiter he didn't bother taking the feedback...we just wasted half of the food, paid 1000 bucks for the food that wasn't even worth 100 bucks and told the waiter he could have told us no food was available rather than serving un-cooked food...the waiter didn't even bother to respond and we us left the place...before leaving I made the great mistake of visiting the washroom...it was unhygienic and no one had cleaned it since ages. Worst experience ever and definitely will never visit this hotel with such irresponsible staff...

One of the best hotels n my lil toddler enjoyed the stay n the room was so comfortable n beautiful with a lovely kids playground which we discovered on d last day as we were not aware of it ... Staff is very helpful n friendly, food is nice but a lil expensive, swimming pool was very nice n the staff is really nice n helpful... We would love to go again.... I travelled with my 1 year old baby and was worried about the hygiene and food, however the hotel was so neat and clean and the staff was very polite. They made mong daal khichdi for my baby for lunch and dinner and also arranged transport when we had to go sight seeing...they were willing to accomodate all my requests and made sure I felt safe and comfortable. Thank you MGM for the amazing experience.
