MGM Hospital - Hospital in Puthoor - Kollam, India

Today I had a very bad experience from one of the staff of MGM hospital. Staff Lintu (Nurse who was wearing pant n top) in casualty was very rude to me. when I was is in pain during dressing change (as she was removing skin from the burns wound using artery forceps) she was arguing with me and murmuring with other staff. She was not at all polite. Then all those staff in that room were laughing and giggling maliciously among themselves in-front of me.There were 4-5 nurses were there for just a wound care, which was not required. I am paying for their service and as a patient I believe I should be treated with respect and they should tell me priorly what they are going to do in wound care.

Staff having rude behaviour....if patient coming with serious illness then also we want to wait for hours.... Staff are not experienced ones.... High cost compared to other hospital in puthoor

I brought my mom to the emergency room here as she had some kind of food allergy. The doctor was very professional & compassionate and prescribed an injection. The nurse took us to the injection room where she was preparing the injection. I just took a peep at the medicine to see what my mom was getting & the nurse took offence & went on a rant asking me if I was checking to see if she's giving the right medication & asked me rudely to leave the room. I have every right to know what medication was being given considering all the medication errors that are being reported by the media. The nurse then asked my mom to untie her underskirt as it was an intramuscular injection; and my mom had to take off most of her saree & the 2 doors on either side of the room were left wide open. It is the responsibility of the nurse to provide privacy & maintain dignity of the patient at all times. I'm seriously disappointed by the attitude of the nurse. MGM is a decent hospital in Puthoor & I reckon it would do good for the hospital if the nurses show a bit of compassion towards patients & prove that nurses are indeed the backbone of the hospital. I know the nurses might be under a lot of pressure with covid & everything that's going on, but it's part of the nursing job to be kind & compassionate to patients.

Came here for vaccination. It took 1 hr 40 minutes to complete registration and then another 1 hr for vaccination queue. No feel of paying and getting some good service. Simply it's pathetic. Kerala govt PHS handle same crowd with more efficiency and feel good factor

Good .. Comfortable one.. Parking space available..

Don't go here for vaccination.They don't know how to arrange things.You have to spend minimum 4 hrs to get vaccinated.Govt hospitals are far better than them.

I went there recently two times for an antigen test for covid 19.They gave report verbally with in 10 minutes and printed report not.we need to go again for collecting that.I requested them to give via email.iys very helpful for the persons in this scenario... Plz arrange facility for senting report via email if someone demanding...
