MG Marg Market is a famous & well Known Market in Gangtok, But being a tourist destination things are little bit expensive, In alternate to this Lal Market and New Market is located before you enter MR Marg Market, You can Get variety of items like Crockery, Organic Vegetables, Daily use items & Clothes - Footwear

M G Marg means Mahatma Gandhi Road. MG Marg, Gangtok, is a street which is one of the focal points for tourists in Gangtok. The entire area is free of litter,smoke,and vehicle, it's a pedestrian only zone. It is famous for shopping, restaurants, cafes, bars and food outlets. The area is always overcrowded. Pic time to visit Gangtok March to June and September and October. Shops are open from 8 am to 7 pm and Tuesday market is closed. Without visiting it a Gangtok visit is really incomplete. The stachu of unity overlooks MG Marg.

M.G Marg a famous place in Gangtok.Night life start with this place and I think end also with this place.Restuarent,Pub, shopping all included with this place.But I think shopping is expensive in MG Marg compared to Lal Bazar.

A well decorated road too many dress shop and foods shop are available here . Price is not budget friendly. Nightmood is more beautiful than day time
