MG IRIS HOTEL - Hotel in Tirupati - Chittoor, India

it's like a hotel near a railway station. booked a suite with breakfast included for convenience. we stayed for 2 nights. the goods- walking distance to station. soundproof rooms that isolate sounds from bust Railway station to 90%. the bads- the access road is closed on one side due to construction, and the other side was through a smelly road. the buffet provided was basic. we went at 8:30 for breakfast and had 80% food left. and no order, no refills. have bread but no jam, the next day even toaster is dead. I guess they have better food if you are there right at 7am. security - The next day, when we came back to the rooms from outside, we found out the suite open, and people from the others' rooms were given access to the dining table to have food.

The place is nice with a bus stand and restaurants nearby. But the service could be better. There's a table right outside the rooms on the second floor where people were making noise late at night and early in the morning. This made it hard for me to sleep. If they can fix this and improve their service, it would be a good place to stay.

Excellent service. Rooms are very neat and clean. We had some disturbance from upper floor. They immediately changed our room without us asking. Very accomodating. Only flaw is we couldn't get food properly but that's fine as we did not stay much in room.

The hotel is good. Ok to stay for one or two days. Rooms are clean and service is ok. The location is near the bus stand and railway station. Movie theaters are easily accessible. A number of restaurants are nearby. I don't know about the restaurant inside the hotel. We didn't order anything. If we book a room from the hotel it costs around 2500+, I booked the room through the Agoda website. It's around 1770+, worth it. If you are the person looking for privacy this can be the best option. I felt that this is a budget friendly hotel and the staff here are very friendly and they help without any hesitation. There are no hangers in the room please note. It's totally a apartment converted to a hotel. I can hear some sounds while I walk in living room. Fridge is provided in living room.

The bedspreads weren't clean. The service is really bad. The key cards just get automatically deactivated and stops working. Room service is non-existent. If you ask them for anything, including basics such as soap, they say they don't have stock. Overall, a very bad experience.

This hotel is not recommended to stay. Rooms, washrooms, beads preaads, room is smelling with foul smell, lifts are not clean. Only advatage is near to railway station and bus stand. If you stay here you are going to get skin diseases for sure and you need to consult dermatologist. Please for your health sake dont book hotel here.

Hotel is very nice and staff is also very good This hotel is very near to bus stand and railway station the food is also excellent in the restaurant the rooms are very comfortable and there is a sufficient size of the roomsAnd And complimentary breakfast is available and the breakfast is also good nice for me

Hotel Staffs behaved professionally. Located near by bus stand and rail station. Good parking space. But few points I want to highlight: 1. Card payment was available but they forced me to pay in cash or gpay. 2. Bathroom door lock was damaged. 3. AC remote battery was missing and not operating properly. 4. Windows were not sound proof. Whole night felt disturbance due to vehicle and train noises. 5. Electric kettle was available but was very dirty. 6. Few gutka split marks were not cleaned properly over the Comot. We found rotten bananas under our bed. I never complain or write any reviews but this time it was necessary to highlight this above points. These small tthing matters a lot as I paid 2800Rs /day. The hotel authorities have no rights to charge me that amount if they are unable maintain the hygiene due to carelessness. There are 100+ hotels in the same area in Rs1000-1500 range so why should I stay in iris! just for good looking interior? It's a clear white collar scam that people should aware before booking.
