Mezzo - Bar in Kochi, Ernakulam - Ernakulam, India

I just love this place. Any day of the week, any time of the day, Mezzo is an awesome bet. An open bar with great music, good crowd and yum yum food. My best though is their BBQ pork ribs. It melts in your mouth and is one of the best in the city. Its obviously on the expensive side and therefore do budget for atleast 1500 per head if you're looking to have couple of drinks and starters per person.

Mezzo is incredibly expensive. However they make brilliant cocktails. The mixing ratio is amazing. Drinks taste well and as well as look wonderful. Food is also of great quality although they have a very limited menu.

Mezzo is located on the ground floor of Avenue Regent. The place is quite small and is crowded. You will have to wait a bit to get a table especially during weekends. The food and drinks are average and expensive. The customer service is just okay.

Were looking for some happening places around M G road on a Sunday evening. The place came up as a most popular joint and we were surely excited to try the same. Located on the ground floor of Avenue Regenta hotel, the place is were well designed. Seating is spacious and comfortable. Service was really quick and worth appreciating. We tried out the Hummus and pita platter, Schezwan paneer, papad platter and devil fries. The presentation as well as quantity was absolutely perfect. The fries were a bit bitter and did not enjoy much, however all other items tasted well. All in all a worthwhile place to spend your lazy evenings.

Who doesn't like Mezzo. Probably the first and best lounge bar in Kerala. Been coming here for almost 12 years. Mezzo the best.

Mezzo appears like an oasis in an urban desert. A place to unwind and relax in a very busy part of the city. The location is great and so is the ambience. However parking can be a major issue and so can be the waiting time. To add to this, waiting times for seats can be really long especially in the evenings. Be prepared to wait for your seat and for snacks (if ordered).The place has a lot of energy and is definitely a recommended spot for a good drink.

I sat at the bar as I was alone, unlike other bars i have visited, the staff were very shy to kick-up a conversation. When someone sits at the bar it is a tradition to talk to the customer. They moved away and avoided eye contact instead. All cocktails are easy to prepare with artificial juices. Not sure why the high rating. No scenic view from bar either, it is on the ground floor. The food however was good(pork pepper fry Rs 450). But there was no complementary snacks with any of the drinks. All in all a terrible place to spend time. The bakery on the other side, 'Cocoa Tree' has a better atmosphere.

It's located in the Prime area(MR Road), Seating capacity is very less and Floor Manager behaviour is also not upto the mark. I'm being a tourist and travelled here for a work related, If I want to have leisure time then this is not the right place. He said Buy drinks and sit outside or asking me to sit in the smoke area. They should have a separate Smoking zone not partition smoke zone. Beer price starts at 350 Happening is the reason they don't people. They're judgmental.
