Mewar Haveli - At Lake Pichola - Hotel in Udaipur - Udaipur, India

I recently visited Udaipur with my family and it was really a memorable trip. Mewar haveli played a huge role in planning and enjoying through the trip. They have an amazing service and were always available whenever we needed help regarding anything. The owner of the property Mr. Sanyam Jain was very supporting and even helped us in planning the itinerary perfectly so that we don't miss any main attractions as well as enjoy our stay.

The food and hospitality was very good. However, the lake view room we were given was too small and not well maintained. The windows were broken (taped together), pillowcases and toilet curtains were not clean. The toilet itself was very very small and had ventilation issue. The lake view restaurant was very good to enjoy the atmosphere of the place.

My experience at this hotel. Pls keep it in mind while booking. The owner of this hotel needs to understand the meaning of the word "Hospitality". He Just has sugarcoated words. They impose their terms and conditions on all the customers. I paid a huge amount of money to book two rooms one of which was having no ventilation , see through curtains ,dripping taps and a sitting place in front of windows where other people sit , so you were unable to open the window. And the second room was next to restaurant ....full of noise---- i was not able to sleep . Toilet Flush was broken. They call unnecesarily. Complimentary breakfast will be served at 8am and if you come late "you will have to eat cold food" this was told by the restaurant guy. Which is sheer irresponsibility!!!!!!! I never ate anything in the hotel because of this idiotic behaviour. And last day of my stay i received multiple calls for checking out when i was sleeping. I want to mention that they never told me the checkout time. They forced me to leave the room at their own choice of time. One of the staff member even came to the rooom for this. Arrey bhai hotel chlana nahi aata toh bnaate kyu ho. Itne rigid ho toh check in ke time hi btado na ki ese behave kroge. Mujhe pehle pta hota toh checkin hi na krta yaha ........Yeh Udaipur se judi ek kdwi yaad rahegi!! Shame on you

We had the most wonderful experience staying at Hotel Mewar Haveli in Udaipur. First, the hotel's location is perfect. It overlooks the serene Lake Pichola, providing stunning views that took our breath away. The staff at Hotel Mewar Haveli made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. Their warmth and hospitality were exceptional. They were always ready to help and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Our room was cozy and clean, with traditional Rajasthani decor that added to the cultural charm of our stay. The view from our window was beautiful. The food at the hotel's restaurant was delicious, and a special mention is that we get satvik food (no onion no garlic) on order. The rooftop dining area was a highlight, with a backdrop of the illuminated City Palace and Lake Palace in the evenings. The dedication and passion of the hotel's owner, Sanyam, made our stay more special. Sanyam's love for the rich heritage, commitment to preserving and celebrating the traditional Haveli-style hotel is truly remarkable. He has meticulously restored the Haveli, keeping its architectural beauty intact, while also adding modern comforts to ensure a memorable stay for his guests. It's evident that he takes great pride in his work. In short, our stay at Hotel Mewar Haveli was a dream come true. If you're looking for a place that offers beauty, hospitality, and a taste of Rajasthan's rich culture, this is the place to be. We can't wait to return to this hidden gem in Udaipur.

One of The worst Hotel In udaipur. Service -- 0 Food --0 Room -- 2 There is No hot water. Food They serve is very very Poor which is inedible and overly spicy. Service is incredibly if ask for Something they will Respond you serve you after 30-40 min for rooms and food Both. Breakfast Time is Given 8am sharp but the breakfast is Served at 8:40 to 8:50am No doubt View from Hotel is very Good. If Anyone visiting Udaipur I'd strongly advise exploring other accommodation and dining options in Udaipur. But Never select Mewar Haveli for stay and Dinning. Overall experience it's not worth the terrible experience.

Rooms are clean and offer a good view of Lake pichola. Friendly and helpful staff and view from the terrace restaurant is nice, please note the restaurant is pure vegetarian. The rooms and bathrooms are quite small.

Rooms are good and service too. The staff is helpful and courteous. The issue is getting to the hotel. Car won't reach the location and the auto charges 100 -150 rs for 200+mts distance. They will just ask you to book the auto and pay.

Stayed in Mewar Haveli for 3 nights in November..what a wonderful experience in every way .This haveli is on lake pichola , right in the middle of all beautiful attraction. 5 star to all the staff of mewar haveli .will surely come back here .. strongly recommend
