Cold food taste is very bad chicken smells boil egg that also waq, we thought old hotel but is taken by some one else it seems not recomended
Just another average/below average Kerala cuisine restaurant. The service was ok, food could improve. Not enough lighting in the service hall. Tea was bad, felt they reheated the previous day's tea.
Been to this awesome place after the google review, will recommend to all the foodies to try this awesome food spot in Shivajinagar. The Biriyani is as sweet as their hospitality. God bless .
An ok ok kind of Kerala restaurant. Food is not so good but not bad either. The staffs hospitality is commendable. This hotel has seen better days as is evident from the unused chairs and tables. Thought it would be cheaper than the nearby Empire restaurant. But I think it is as expensive as Empire itself.
4 years ago i had visited and posted a review that time also it was average. Visited today again. Ordered Chilly chicken and Roti. Taste was below average. Chilly chicken tatse wqs like boiled chicken tossed in a red watery gravy with some capsicum. The amount of colour they used is ridiculous. This was my fingertips after 3 rounds of handwashing with soap and hand washing liquid.
Edit: Avoid visiting on Sunday/early morning as the chutney may not be the best. Egg dosa, chutney, sambar are EXCELLENT. Did not expect homemade taste from here but that's what it was. Better than other South Indian food establishments.
Nice place for a birthday party with a very very low budget
Iconic is the word.
Vintage is the ambience.
Comforting is the service.
Divine is the taste.
That's Metropole for you.
A legacy restaurant started in 1960s which is like a beautiful Kerala kitchen with South Indian food and Kerala meals as it's speciality.
I tried the Kerala fish meal which has boiled rice, rasam, karela sabzi, pickle, papad, sambhar and fish curry
On the side, I was recommended 'oyster fry' by the restaurant guy and I went ahead to try it.
Mind = Blown
What a beauty.
I also had a grape juice and it was nothing like I've ever tasted before. So good!
I will totally recommend this place for it's easy on your pocket and amazing on your heart.

One of the best places for malabar cuisine in bangalore. Operating in a bungalow, this place doesn't look like your regular restaurant from outside. The ambiance is very simple and traditional. The food is amazing, we tried a couple of dishes prawns
Food is really nice. All items are having authentic Kerala style taste. Very good and cordial staff. Must try are Chatti chor, coconut milk shake, Nool porotta. Space is less and getting a parking is tight. Better take an Uber or Ola to reach there.
I have visited here twice. The place is very pocket friendly and authentic food. I always order the veg meal along with some non veg curry on the side. I love their chicken curry and fish fry. The fish curry was decent not to my liking. For veg meal,
You get authentic Kerala dishes. Lot of varieties in fish. Descent ambience and well behaved staff. Meals are provided in buffet style with reasonable price.
