Metro Plaza is multistorey building on S.F.Road that connects two points viz Jalpai More and Siliguri Town Station the oldest station of Siliguri .This railway station is a heritage station of N.E.Frontear Railway under Katihar DRM Headquarter.Poet Rabindranath Tagore many times travelled through this station while goingtoDarjeeling the Hill Resort of West Bengal since British rule. Metroplaza has important branches of business house like ICICI Bank Samsung and Bata India .The working hours is from10.a.m to 8.p.m.from Monday to Saturday.Sunday closed..Apart from those mentioned other business stores are also there.The S.F.Road is the biggest width two way Street of siliguri .It has a market connection with the oldest above hundred years old Mahavira Stan In the Market complex,different branches of bank offices is a special mention of this area.Since one cannot cross the road any where from left to right or vice versa ,it becomes very uncomfortable to reach the point as iron rallings are continuous except crossing, bifurcating the street.Actually this should have been named as Street not Road.Municipal Corporation should see to it.
