Mathikettan shola is a reserve forest with abundant flora and fauna and n number of tiny species. Trekking facility is available and cost around 1500 bucks. Need to book prior and trucking would be around 6-7 hours .

One of the still pristine national park. When asked to forest department, it attracts very limited tourist population. Charges were too much as compared to other NPs in India. For trekking 532 per person. You have to be atlest party of 4 otherwise pay for 4 person. Private jeep can drop you at entrance of actual NP after paying 1100rs.

Ok ok place to stay as it's cheap ... They have dorm which is very affordable .. these guys have no idea to make grills though they will offer they do that for you .... But they cook very nice curries an other stuff if we request them ....

The forest is vast and more wild animals are their inside
