Methanam Bar - Wine bar in Kochi - Ernakulam, India

Great place with amazing outdoor ambiance. Food is of great taste and quality. Recommended to dine in in the outdoor setup if possible even though they charge you extra as it much better than indoor dinein. Place has a great view of the kumbalangi back waters.

Pleasent experience and awesome view. The staff and management was so friendly and service was up to mark. Perfect spot for a weekend hangout. Strongly suggest.

Poor bar facilities in this bar .. actually I started to drink from here before many years. We started to drink from ac bar ..after corona they increased the amount of AC bar..that was not problem for us.. we just changed our drinking to non ac also called local bar. we atleast drink 2 times in a week from here.. here have some problems first we get bad experience from the billing section they are too rude to us.. we then the payment issue most of the time they say no upi and no card payment.. then why they are running this bar..?if i can give 0 Star i will give only negative feedback..if someone see this feedback from authorities of methanam please contact me..i just live 500 meters from here

Methanam Tourist Home main asset is photographs they have posted ,seeing these beautiful pictures makes tech savvy people to book a night stay . We had reached there for private meeting envisaging natural beauty which was visible in photographs ,we where welcomed by a security guard who was acting as if he is from different world ,whole set up is make over of normal Kerala Home by dissenting lot of artificial and duplicate handicrafts and second class painting /drawing .Rooms are smaller and gives nasty odor,one good thing is Bathrooms are well maintained. Open meeting area was better in day time but when it was evening was filled with mosquitos which is ingredient part in this land .By mistake if any of room windows where open your night stay becomes hard with mosquitos around . Service is another spin of lucky dice ,you will get one or two personnel who are cooperative where there is bigger lot of employees behave as if we are there slaves . All waiters and service personnel vacate this hotel at 9PM and you will not get a bottle of water after 9PM.Breakfast is slated at 9AM which will be ready only at 10AM ,breakfast generally vegetarian has a better taste than food served in evening ,Swimming pool is not maintained and doe snot have water purifying system a.Overall avoid if you have an option

Too costly here compared to other nearby BAR hotels...Food is average. Never expect good ambience here. Unclean n unhygienic washrooms .Worst BAR experience ever

Small yet elegant bar. They have a nice riverside lawn seating. Good ambience in evenings. Parking spaces available. Suitable for small get-togethers and pool side parties.

A/c bar is good price is affordable and service is very good from the staff

This cannot be termed as a resort. The property is too small to be termed as a resort build near the back waters with a small swimmig pool inside. It is only a lodge. I have booked two rooms. Even the A/C were switched off in the midnight. Lost sleep in the midnight due to extreme heat inside the room and mosquito bites. No activities were provided by the property management. I will never suggest this to anyone.
