MERCY HOSPITAL MADURAI - Hospital in Madurai - default, India

For all medical attention that needed for my daughter, I reach Mercy Hospital, where Dr. Cynthia Martin gave her utmost care every time to my satisfaction. This is being continued since her age 15 till now. . My daughter aged 30 years now, married in 2015 and her two deliveries of male baby in Nov 2016 and Feb 2020, we relied on Dr Cynthia Martin, who had as usual, given her best for safe delivery on these two occasions at affordable fee. Now I am happy with two grandsons aged 7 and 3. Recently, on 17-8-2023, my daughter had to undergo a surgery for Umbilical hernia and discharged on 27-8-2023, which day happened to be 25 th year of service. Again, our family trusted the medical expertise of Dr. Cynthia Martin and Mercy Hospital staff. She is now convalesing at my home. This time also, my daughter endured the rigours of the surgery due to best professional acumen of Dr Cynthia Martin and her team. The supporting staff were very cordial and efficient is an asset to the Hospital. We are a happy family under the care of Mercy Hospital, Madurai. We wish Mercy Hospital to render best medical service in the years to come.

Hey It's been totally 4yrs I delivered my baby.I'm posting an review now just after 4yrs coz this hospital has gave me a trauma experience which we as a couple can't forgot! One day my baby movements were very slow and we were worried about baby.So we went for regular check up!that was Sunday night. Doctor was hurry to leave the hospital.She said to do emergency C-section, as she also can't find any movements in baby, but I said..no I can feel little movements with baby..pls check in ultrasound once and then we can try for delivery. But she just tried to do immediately c-section..One of the WORST DOCTOR IN MADURAI. She is not even an women! She said " U can try normal also, but we won't support u, guide u, it's all upto ur decision, if u get pain at midnight.....no one will be in the hospital and it's Sunday night all doctors will go out! That was the WORST STATEMENT i heard on that day.She is such an IRRESPONSIBLE lady!!! On all of the above, the duty nurse her name still I can remember..."PREMA" , she is like broker for doctor.she only makes all deliveries to c-section.On the highlight of all this, this PREMA NURSE brainwashed us to do the c-section on the same day telling us " If u do section today, u will get a boy baby and this is the belief in our city"...but we didn't accepted for that reason, we said okay for c-section because we were badly worries about our baby health!!! And the main trauma comes after delivery! NOONE GUIDES U FOR BREASTFEEDING! They simply say " NIPPLE AH ILLA", "KAAMBU ILE" , "ITHU WASTE"!!!! New mother's and pregnant ladies , try to understand this is the biggest Red flag hospital in madurai currently! After all these incidents, we went there again for our baby vaccination, they charged "10000" for vaccination,which was only 3000 at another private hospital.! Anyone can neglect this comment and go to this hospital, but don't forget that. THEY WILL TREAT U LIKE A QUEEN TILL DELIVERY PAIN, AFTER THEY WONT EVEN BOTHER TO SEE U!!! At last if u don't have any other option than visiting this hospital, be bold and strong. Only u need to take care of urself from the delivery pain.These people are very much money minded! They need only money from u! While going for my baby vaccination on 30th day , I saw the same PREMA NURSE brainwashing another couple and their family saying that "Today is Sunday, if u do c-section today,u will have high chance of getting boy baby"This is the time I realised that this is not hospital, this is Business for them! Stay awake and avoid such hospitals

My wife was admitted here for delivery. Hospital is very clean and hygenic. Doctors and nurses handling patients with patience. We can ask our doubts and questions without hesitation, The will explain clearly

Very helpful staff and understanding doctor Mrs. Cynthia mam. Homely and professional experience every time we visit.

Went for normal check up.Very worst hospital waited for nearly 2 hrs and no one even bothered to check. On getting frustrated, came out of hospital without even consulting.

Went here for regular pregnancy checkup and to learn pregnancy exercises and that I felt, it is a worthable hospital. Aft delivery my pov :I think it is not a right hosp for those who are expecting for normal delivery. I regret so much.

Worst Experience I had! Plz don't go to this hospital. They r purely money minded. They force you to do this n that. Especially pregnant ladies should void this hospital

Good to take treatment here.All staffs are so kind and treating patients very politely..Especially physio doctor also good. Teaching exercises easily and she is very supportive.
