MERAKKI - Restaurant in Kozhikode - Kozhikode, India

We visited Mereaki long back when the place had just opened. After watching the online videos, we had to try the restaurant. We enjoyed the food, but there was nothing special about it, the ambience was good but the mosquitoes were a problem. Yesterday we visited Merakki again and we loved the food. I loved all the items we ordered, especially chemeen puttu and kadukka roast. The staff was very courteous. I would love to go back there and taste more items from their menu. I recommend this restaurant. I would have given a 5 star rating for the atmosphere, if there were no mosquitoes. With a pond right next to the restaurant, mosquitoes are expected but some natural measures could be taken to avoid them. Parking can be an issue. Parking is limited. I did not see a dedicated parking lot other than the space right in front of the restaurant. All in all, a must try restaurant. On my third visit to Merakki, I tried more dishes. Kanthari prawn roast, squid roast, chicken puttu, chicken palli palayam and chicken tawa fry were excellent.

A very good restaurant serving fresh and tasty Kerala food as well as Chinese. Their food is really fresh and of good quality and quantity. The ambience is also very nice, with good seating area for family. The service is average. Parking is very hard to find because only 3 cars can be parked outside. They also serve very good tea. Their starters are also good, the chicken 20-20 is a very nice dish But very overpriced.

I recently dined at this restaurant and found the ambience to be delightful. However, the Mandi rice was a letdown, and the lemon-mint tea was disappointing. Despite our complaint, the replacement tea didn't meet expectations either. It felt like a waste of money. On the bright side, the chicken puttu was a standout dish. Mixed experience overall.

I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Last week for Saturday night dinner when I went with with husband only 2 other tables were occupied already. The waiter didn't come to take order. When 4 more families occupied more tables waiter still wouldn't come to us to take order, instead chose to take order of the tables next to the counter, probably for their convenience. Didn't wait for more than 30mins. So we left.

One among the best in town restaurant. Good quality and quantity for severed on time with no delay... And a very reasonable price. Great ambiance with a big pool nearby...

Celebrated my sons first birthday from here. Also got the opportunity to celebrate my friends dad birthday event. Used to visit this place oftenly. Loved the ambience and tasty food they offer!

Average ambience. Too hot with not even adequate number of fan. Bad experience. Not expensive though. Parking space limited. Not recommended during hot climate.
