Mendri Ghumar - Waterfall in Mendir - Bastar, India

This is a seasonal waterfall with water coming from nearby fields and falling in to gorge. The scenery is breathtaking. Earlier there was no barrier for tickets but now they charge Rs 40 for car parking. It is best to visit during monsoon only.

This place is just mesmerizing, located in Jagdalpur of Bastar district, Chattishgarh...A small falls we could have seen but the entire surroundings is molded with green forests and colourful rocky natural sculptures.

Only for pics spot.. You feel like the top edge of the world.

Its also known as fog valley and if you are planning to be in center baster and wanna do night stay go for it ,,,, BTW don't be afraid of fox they won't come near you

The Mendrighumar Waterfall is a seasonal and natural located at Jagdalpur in Bastar district in the Chhattishgarh state of India. It is very close to Chitrakote. Very beautiful place to visit and It is one of the places to witness the diversity of Indian landforms

The place is good but if you want to enjoy then you can go Tangda Ghumar.

One of the best places to visit near jagdalpur. And a must visit near chitrakoot waterfall. I'd recommend to visit here near sunset time to get a pictures perfect scene. The place is a horseshoe shaped canyon surrounding green lush forest.
