Went to Mellow Fellow randomly but came back with so many memories. Loved the stay! The rooms, the Food, the vibe, the MANAGERS especially. You can see K2 from the roof on a clear day. Loved it. 100 percent recommend and would certainly go back.

I had a plan of staying for a day, and it turned out to be 40 days. It was an amazing experience. The staff is really good and helpful, especially Shanti and Sonam. The people over there are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are good, and the common area is beautiful; you can spend hours over there. The environment is very friendly, and the location is perfect. MG Marg is the best place in Gangtok. If you are lucky enough, you will meet the owner of the property; he is one of the most humble and generous guys I have ever met. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is coming to Gangtok.

Its really great place to stay if you are solo too. Location is too cool and chill. You'll get great company here from all over. Staff people are very polite and friendly. There is beautiful common room where we can eat and jam on songs together with guitar. Mellow fellow family vibe is different. I had a wonderful week there. Must visit.

Incredible hostel with very energetic vibe. Roof terrace and balcony are very relaxed and cosy. Staff can be considered as your best friends and they will take you to all the best places and parties in town. The centered position in town makes it definitely an asset. I enjoyed it so much there that it was hard for me to leave the place. I can fully recommend Mellow Fellow as one of the best stays in Gangtok town.

I didn't go to Mellow Fellow for the first 2 days of my Gangtok trip of 8 days and I regret it. It is a space for travellers to share stories experiences and meet inspiring people. Make sure you can spend time with the owner of the hostel, Karma. His wisdom, experiences and stories will fill you with inspiration and his passion for business, riding, sharing about Sikkim - its amazing history and culture, and living on your terms will give you goals to aspire to. Well atleast it did for me. So come and try it out, stay here to listen, understand and experience why travelers do what they do.

Mellow fellow is the perfect place to meet other travelers. I ended up there after spending a night in another hostel and this place was a revelation with its super cool and friendly staff. The rooms are good and the common room is a special place with a good overall view and comfortable low seating that lends itself naturally for socializing or laying back. Sandi Samir and Annie were super hosts who sorted out the full two weeks in Sikkim with super helpful tips and even organizing and coordinating - everything was taken care of. A place that I will definitely return to for the vibe and impression it has left on me!
