We spend a very lovely time at Mehrotra Silk factory, there is a large choice of fabric and design all very beautiful. Father and son were very nice with us and professional I would very much recommend ! The shop can be a challenge to be found but it is worth the shot since it is in a very peaceful place of Varanasi :)

Mehrotra Silk Factory at Lal Ghat is a great place to buy silk. The quality is excellent and the colors are gorgeous. The family that runs it is extremely nice, couldn't have been friendlier and is knowledgable without being pushing you to buy. Shopping there was actually fun and I'm very happy with the material I bought there. Will definitely come back again when I next visit and would recommend it for anyone who's interested in buying silk.

Very warm welcome in this small place easily accessible from the gaats. Advice was very attentive, they really wanted us to have beautiful products. We asked a big challenge: to sew 4 curtains in less than 24 hours. They did an amazing job: very attentive to details, the pieces are perfectly aligned, the sewing straight, just what we asked. And the quality of fabrics is excellent. We love our new curtains, they have a story and are unique! Thanks for all Mehrotra ! Namaste
