I along with my family recently stayed at this property for two days. The stay was excellent, staff is so courteous which made us comfortable and create the perfect environment. The food was the perfect end to our day. The vast cottage is situated at lower Mall road where one can enjoy the nature. There were rare species of birds. The owner also very humble. You enjoy a spectacular view from terrace of cottage, mountains and greenery around. Most important night view of Almora and nearby area from this cottage is precious thing during whole stay. There is enough space on terrace of cottage for kids to spent there vacation time and enjoy the nature. You can click and retain specious memories from there. I would like to visit and stay here again and highly recommend to my friends and family.
The place is absolute value for money. Their homestay has a vibe that will make you wanna come back to Almora. Shankar bhaiya and Mehra uncle are super hospitable and friendly. It's a budget stay so do not compare with the luxury ones. They have a super homely vibe. They have open terrace where you can party and eat your meals just right outside the rooms. It is well decorated and lit. They also have local food available at a very reasonable price. It was a absolute delight to stay Mehra cottage.
Worth the price, good food and the most important thing is the hospitality they provide is great. No overcharges were there. Overall a good recommended place to stay.
Wonderful stay I visited Almora with my son in the first week of October.. It was a memorable experience for us. Room was very clean and spacious.. This place is super comfortable and beautiful, in a quiet neighbourhood. Absolutely perfect place,super safe and affordable. I enjoyed home cooked delicious food at a very reasonable price. Staff was so humble. Owner(Vaibhav) was so quick to respond and he helped me to hire a taxi to visit nearby places(Jageswar,Golu devta and Kasar Devi)at a very reasonable price.. He's a wonderful person,very helpful.. Overall it was an awesome stay at a good value. I highly recommend everyone to stay in their Homestay .. I would definitely visit Almora again and stay there.. Rooms are clean. Nice services. Onwer is such a very good and helpful person. He really come to the bus top in the morning to pick up as well. Such a nice stay. Terrace is really beautiful
I stayed in this hotel for 3 days with my friends and overall, I had a great experience The owner and the staff were incredibly helpful and they provided all the basic amenities like hot water, wifi, filtered water, etc. The room was wonderful, clean and comfortable. They also have a picturesque terrace to relax and chit-chat. I will definitely stay there when I come back and I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Almora.
Nice room, furniture was also good, but only one suggestion that the bathrooms are small but no problem with that, it's manageable. About the food was also nice, no bad quality oil used, satisfied enough
Staying in this hotel was a memorable experience of almora . The people were good in nature. There were pets also . We enjoyed a lot and spared a great time there. Hotel was located at a beautiful place. The cleanliness and sanitation was good. Basic facilities like: filtered water, wifi,etc.

One of the few places around our stay which was ready to offer us breakfast at 8.30 am. We didn't stay here but loved the decor. Requested for hand blended coffee from one of the attendants and he with biggest smile did two cups for us. Loved the cof
