Nice atmosphere and ambiance. The food was also very good. I am satisfied with the service and food. The only problem is there in no parking space.
My current visit to Mehfil Restaurant was after a gap of 18 years. I used to frequently eat there prior to that and then moved out of Ahmedabad. I got exactly the same experience even after such a long duration. The food is amazing tasty and the service is excellent. I didn't have anything to complain. The rates are quite reasonable. To be honest, i hadn't expected the same level of satisfaction after 18 years and I was a bit hesitant to go there initially. But I'm glad I did as nothing has changed over this period. Mehfil has remained a top restaurant in Vasana area with authentic Punjabi food options.

We have been visiting this place from past more than 20 years and the taste has consistent, the ambience, the hospitality and the freshness of food is too good to be forgotten. I just love it.
My orders: Cheese Angoori (Kofta), Paneer Toofani, Hyderabadi Biryani and Cheese Naan. I have to be critical about the food (2 star) because there is severe imabalance in price-to-taste ratio. While ordering sabzi: 1 of our order was Cheese Angoori (which was supposed to be in Red gravy as mentioned in the Menu) and another was Paneer Toofani (which was supposed to be spicy). The reality: 1) Cheese Angoori did not have an ounce of cheese-like flavour. Instead it was just dry kofta balls floating in gravy. Also the menu mentions that this sabzi is supposed to be with red gravy. I don't think it was matching any shade of red. 2) Paneer Toofani was confirmed to be spicy and was recommended by the waitstaff but wasn't spicy at all. It was vertically cut paneer pieces in bland gravy. Even the basic condiments like salt were off the mark. 3) Hyderabadi Biryani was okay. I wouldn't say I loved it or hated it but it was right in the middle. Still Rs270 is way too much for what is being served. (Bonus: they are generous enough to compliment it with Raita alongside) 4) Cheese naan, this too was simple (I feel some basic restaurants serve way better than Mehfil's). Not something that would blow the minds away. Final verdict: The recommendations that we all receive regarding Mehfil might have be valid in the past but today they are way way way off track. P.s. This review may seem gravely critical but truth being told is always harsh.
It's a 100% veg restaurant with Jain food. Service and nature play a very important role in the hospitality industry, Here the top level is lacking in the Dharnidhar branch.
