Had the best and most authentic Mutton Mandi in my life. I found this place in the middle of nowhere on the way to Gandikota from Belum Caves. Very low profile hotel with amazing food. Even the mutton Biryani was really good. Will come to this place again just to have this food again. Try the mutton dishes !
Totally unexpected such an excellent restaurant in a small town like Jammalamadagu. They serve One of the best Chicken Mandis. The Chicken is Cooked in an authentic way and served with saffron rice containing dry fruits and ghee. Tomato Shatta, Mayonnaise & Pudina Chutney is also provided with the Mandi. Quantity is so large that 1 full Mandi can suffice 4-5 people. The mushroom biryani is also excellent. The rice used in both Mandi & Biryani is the same. They provide complimentary chicken soup which is lip smacking.
Food was very good here to have it with family. Nice atmosphere as well. Restaurant atmosphere can be improved a bit as the prices are little high.
This place is great as they will adjust the spice levels, based on request. Many of us tourists eat at different spice levels, so that really works. Menu was extensive and we enjoyed what we ordered.
