Extremely beautiful & clean. Can stay here for weeks. Was so surprised to find that the rental is only INR 100/- per day, that is under USD 1.50 per day. Unbelievable. The best part about this beautiful place is that you get to meet Baba Lovers that come in from across the globe, who all have very interesting stories to share. Blissfully Peaceful. Love this place for it's quiet & peaceful surrounding. Stay: The stay is clean and you get your own locker with a clean bed, towel, bedsheet. If you're travelling for the first time as a couple do remember to pack your bags separately as the men and women stay in different sections of the retreat. Food: The meals is something I look forward to every time I come here. Healthy veg food and served at specific time of the day. If you will be arriving around lunch do mention at the time of booking so it has been prepared for you. Travel: Best to travel here by road in a car. There's ample parking space and if you like to see around it helps to have a car. Overall it's a great place to visit!

Welcome to Meher Pilgrim Retreat, - Meherabad THINGS YOU MAY NEED TO KNOW Avatar Meher Baba's Samadhi: Open daily 6 a.m. - 8 p.m. Cleaning 6 a.m.; Arti 7 a.m. & 7 p.m. Open for sitting inside 8:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. MPR Reception Office: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. daily. Check In time: 9 am to 6 pm. At 6 pm the reception office closes, so no one will be there to make the entry in the register and allot the room. If you are checking in before 1 pm your meals are automatically *cooked* for you , and you will be charged for it, so in case you can't make it on time please inform the lobby minimum 3 hours in advance. If you are coming later than the check in time you have given, please inform the reception atleast 2 hours in advance. Check out: 9:30 a.m. in Lobby; bring the door key (not door lock), cupboard lock & key to the Lobby; leave bed tag in place on the bed pole. After 9.30 am, you will be charged for the next day. Room Keys: in Lobby; since it is shared accomodation please leave the room key in Lobby with the lobbyman before leaving the building. Baths: Time 6 am to 2 pm and 3.30 pm to 10 pm. As Meherabad fall in rain shadow, use only bucket of water. Dress Code: Please avoid wearing off shoulder, strappy, deep neck, backless, trasperent and revealing clothes and shorts Payment: in Accounts Office next to Reception. Hours for Payment: Lodging 9a.m. - 12noon; & Meals 9a.m. - 10.00a.m. and in Dining Hall during meal times. Meals: Timings on Rules Sheet in room. Buffet open 45 minutes per meal. Dining Hall open 6 a.m. - 10:30 p.m. Missing Meals: Enter any meals you will be missing in "Meals Request Book" (in Lobby with the lobbyman) at least three hours in advance otherwise food will be cooked for you and you will be charged for that meal. Reception Office: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. daily. Room Keys: in Lobby; please leave room key in Lobby with the lobbyman before leaving the building. Check-out: 9:30 a.m. in Lobby; bring door key (not door lock), cupboard lock & key to the Lobby; leave name tag in place on bed pole. Ater 9.30 am you will be charged for next day. Baths: limited to only 1 bucket every 2 days Curfew: All must be in the building and in their accommodation wings by 10:30 p.m. If you going out of MPR, come before 10.30pm they lock the gate after that. Mobile Phones: Pilgrims requested not to use mobile phones in the accommodation wings because it disturbs others. Quiet Times: 2:00 - 3:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. - 6 a.m. Please no loud conversation, playing of musical instruments, singing, etc. during quiet time. Donations: to Avatar Meher Baba Trust may be made in Accounts Office after filling out the required forms. Smoking and Spitting: The MPR has clear guidelines regarding smoking. Please refer to smoking areas on the Notice Board. The use of gutka and paan is banned at MPR. Tipping: Please do not give tips to any staff members.
