Mehek Tandoor Works - Restaurant in Colva, Majorda - South Goa, India

The restaurant is situated on Colva Beach Road. We visited with the intention of enjoying a vegetarian meal but were disappointed with the food quality, making us feel like our money was wasted. If you're a vegetarian, it's advisable to avoid hotels or shacks near the beach, as the food quality tends to be average there. Instead, consider searching for purely vegetarian restaurants. Our experience at this establishment was unsatisfactory. We ordered peri peri french fries and were surprised to receive fries coated in a type of Garam masala instead of peri peri seasoning. The hot and sour soup left much to be desired, as it had a strong vinegar flavor. The mixed veg miloni lacked taste. Overall, we would rate the vegetarian food here with just one star

The food was ok with regard to taste but the quantity served is less for the price charged. The location was good but the service was very slow and poor. A lot of customers were complaining and the staff har no clue how to handle the situation.

A very nice place that could be excellent if some very minor changes would be made. We went here with my family, we ordered steak that really was chicken breast although made really well, kids ordered chicken soup and russian salad which was almost correct (this Russian salad had pineapple in it). The young guy was sleeping on the job so i had to go hunt for beer myself, they only serve kingsfisher in small bottles for 60 rupees. They also claim to have wifi but were unable to sort it out. Waiting time was ok. Prices slightly on the higher side. 4 stars instead of 3 because older gentleman who was servicing us did outstanding job. Could be 5 stars if they would learn the meals, add large kingsfisher, sort out tech stuff and get second waiter that actually works...

An excellent place for lunch and dinner. The ambience of the place is one of the best in colva. The service is excellent. The food is super tasty and the veg options are plenty.

This is best place in colva for Food. We 2 families along with kids visited many times during our trip. Staff is so well coming . Ambiance is nice. Seating is comfortable. Rates were reasonable. Food was good. We loved the Goan fish fry n all subjis. For families this place cozy. Thanks, JD.

Food is quite good contrary to the Google reviews. Maybe because we are reviewing for Veg only. Price is bit on higher side. Curd rice is not so soft and bit hard. Kichdi is great. Other north indian dishes are decent and come in good quantity.
