Mehak-E-Punjab - North Indian restaurant in New Town - 24 Paraganas North, India

Best food experience in this restaurant located at the 4th floor of Axis mall. The biryani here deserves to be tried atleast once plus the chicken kebab is the bestt!! The quality of food is really great compared to the price! And the service is great as well. I you go, you should try their Masala papad atlst once... and ofc, biryani is the musttt!!! And yeah, it also have an adjacent bar for those who are interested;)

Food tasted great , location of restaurant is good , chicken tandoori was superb and chicken kadhai was also ok , good experience overall, can be visited again.

Last week I visited this restaurant for the sixth time this year. That statement itself speaks volumes about the food here! Whenever we go we order a chicken kebab for sure. Till date no kebab, be it their Reshmi or Malai or Tikka or Kali Mirch Kebab has failed to be perfect. But the Malaysian Murgh Kebab we tried at the recommendation of our server on our last visit was unbelievably good! Juicy, succulent, spicy yet creamy and smokey! Simply amazing! The Chicken Tikka Butter Masala with the Tandoori Roti was also top notch. Perfectly cooked chicken pieces with a gravy that packed a punch of flavours! Too damn good. We ended the meal with a Kulfi Falooda which was pretty perfect too. The ambience was dimly lit and old fashioned and the washroom was as dirty as ever (unusable) but what was distinctly different this time from my earlier visits was definitely the quality of service. There were a lot of old faces and a few new ones but the service was starkly different. Stephen, Sujon and Arup waited on our table and were warm (instead of the aloof I am used to here), made menu suggestions, gave thoughtful inputs, were quick to serve second helpings, asked for feedback, smiled, were patient and even said 'Cheers!' after making our drinks! Definitely the impact of great training! The boys served efficiently and delightfully with a smile! It was pleasantly surprising and will definitely become an USP. Overall unbeatable taste of north Indian food, affordable food and alcohol prices, good portion sizes, wonderful upgraded service and an ambience with an old world charm. Recommend vehemently.

I am here every time I visit kolkata and not a single time they disappoint us. I am a vegetarian and still visit this place for their delicious Aloo Dum punjabi and Panner curries. Their rotis are so good. Anything that I have had here us finger licking good snd I definitely recommend this place.

Wanderful experience overall all. It it located at axis Mall 5th floor... Resturant with bar is available there. Food Prices are good pocket friendly.. Butter nun with non veg item is good option for lunch

The ambience was good and well to do. Food quality was also good, but the quantity of food was really a lot, much more than expected. We ordered fish fingers, chicken malai tikka, and egg pakoda for starters. Murgh handi, chicken butter masala, paneer tikka masala, butter naan and plain naan for main course. And lastly some lime soda. Everything tasted pretty well. A good place to hang out with family and friends.

This restaurant is located inside the Axis mall on the 4th floor. The food quality and quantity are good. They need to work on their services, as they are getting business, so serving staff is not concerned.

If you are finding for a perfect place for North Indian food near Newtown, Kolkata . This is the best for that. Apart from North Indian food this place made Chinese food also . I recommend to try their chicken tikka masala and naan .
