Alright! So I've had a plate of Special mutton biryani which consists of 2 pieces of mutton, 1 piece of potato as well as rice, which is obvious. Alongwith that, you'll get green chutney as well. You need to pay Rs.10/- extra for one egg. The owner, i.e., Ujjal da is so down to earth in nature that he literally gave me an extra piece of mutton for free! Pertaining to its taste, the rice was one of a kind. Got a hint of sweetness as well as a spicy kick down the throat. The rice was super smooth per se, that it can be consumed by someone who faces a hard time chewing. The potato was extremely flavourful as well. The flavour of the spices literally permeated the potato. The mutton pieces were too soft, so much so, that anyone can chug it down. Besides I've taken Chicken Chap as well. Chicken was chewy however, the gravy was good. My recommendation would be their biryani, especially, mutton biryani. Won't recommend the chicken chap but if you need one, you can have it. One thing which I liked and disliked the most other than food is the hospitality and the seating space respectively. They need to work upon their seating space. The cost of one special mutton biryani is Rs. 300/- and one chicken chap is Rs. 70/-. Please go and have their biryani. I feel the taste will surpass Dada Boudi I would say. I know it's a pretty bold statement but it is what it is.

I mostly take away biriyani from this outlet. Till date the experience was good. Yesterday I ordered 1 Special and 1 Normal mutton biriyani. However while eating I realise that mutton pieces are completely undercooked. We throwed away all the mutton piece and consumed only the rice. So the experience was not good this time.

Most of the time I get fabulous biryani. But unfortunately today I got disappointed. But the behaviour of Ujjawal da is awesome. So polite, so calm. I will recommend every biryani lover to go and visit this place. You will get a huge quantity of rice, a large size of alu. After you finish this, you will get unlimited rice and alu.

I think this is the best biryani in madhyamgram . Biryani quality and flavour is awesome , must try only issue is the small seating option otherwise

The place is small, but it is chota packet bada dhamaka type of place. It is just perfect if only taste and quantity is considered. The place is offbeat and so it is very far for many foodies but going there to have the biryani is totally worth it. The Biryani needs no extra chicken chap. It itself is as good as any biryani. I have tried biryani from a lot of places, but this place turns out to be the best supassing even the great DADA BOUDI of Barrackpore. The cons of this place is that it is offbeat place and the space is not there for many to eat there simultaneously. But the behaviour of all were amazing. Wish them a very good luck

Seeing so many positive reviews, I thought to give it a try. It is located adjacent to Madhyamgram station, just beneath the flyover. All I can say they make excellent biryani at such an affordable price. I ordered one chicken biryani (Rs. 130) which consists of one huge leg piece and a jumbo size potato. The chicken was extremely juicy and flavourful and the alu was good and soft enough to accompany with the soft, juicy flavourful rice. The quantity of rice was huge, it can be shared between two persons with moderate appetite. The sitting arrangement is very small. Next time I will try their mutton biryani and chicken chanp.

Seeing good reviews of many food vloggers about this biriyani shop...i go there for eating biriyani at evening time...there was so croud of customers...this is a takeaway counter type shop...but a small sitting option is there for eating biriyani...so i ordered a chicken biriyani which cost 130 rs...trust me i fully waste my money....after waiting for a long time...they serve me a biriyani....first point there is no egg... when they serve me i saw they give me a leg piece as i said them..but what happened to the owner's mind...he changed my leg piece...then gave me a wings of neck side piece....then i told them to change my chicken piece but they refused...so i ate only aloo and rice because there is no chicken only bone and blood feather of chicken...so i waste my full money for this so called chicken biriyani...i think aahar biriyani and Lucknow biriyani is far better than this shop....fully overrated they just know to gather people....for this cheap quality food...they don't think about customer satisfaction.....

It's become popular biriyani shop due to YouTube vlogger. I thought to try. Biriyani was good...but not the best. Some vlogger says it's same quality like famous Dada Boudi. But honestly speaking..NO. Dada Boudi is far far better. On the other side is the price point. Cost is much lesser than Dada boudi. Chicken and mutton pieces are smaller than Dada boudi. My feedback..it's really good biriyani based on it's price point. I should say you should try it. The taste is better than some other Kolkata's resturant. Place is small and beside of public toilet. Bad smell is spreading over the place. They need think about it urgently. Hygiene need to be improved. Owners behavior is polite to catch business. But few staffs are harsh while talking.
