Meghamalai is a great and peaceful tourist destination. It is located in Theni district of Tamil Nadu and is part of the Western Ghats. It has got a typical hilly setting with small barrages, a couple of restaurants, hostels and estates. It is a great place to stay and spend holidays with friends and family.
Perfect for a one day family or friends trip. Plan your trip in September to enjoy the breeze of the rain forest. Jeep safari is totally wasteful. They get you a single place trip with a charge of 1000-1500.
Awesome place to visit. Perfect for 1 or 2 days trip. Accessible by 2 wheelers and car. Views are amazing and less touristy when compares to other hill stations in Tamilnadu. Megamalai can be visited in a day. Have to book the very limited rooms available in the place before visiting. If you are planning for a 1 day trip, try to start early in the morning and return before 4 pm, as they won't allow you to come back once it's night.
The world's best place, Good view, must go to sunlight time. Otherwise you can't see the view(mist came). Really worth travel, pieceful place
