Meenava Nanban No1 Tollgate Trichy - Fish store in Tiruchirappalli, Bikshandarkoil - Tiruchirappalli, India

My niece in Chennai recommended this shop, when it was opened here. I visited without much expectation. But, they offered a lot of varieties which are mostly unavailable in non coastal cities like Trichy and they are fresh too. That made me to visit again and again. Fish varieties, prawn and crab are not only fresh, cleaning and cutting are done perfectly, according to our needs. They also deliver to home and charge a nominal fee(Rs.5 / KM). I also see that the shop is closed around noon several days, when stocks are cleared, which means everyday they offer fresh fish only. So, in my opinion, it's the best place to get seafood in the vicinity of No.1 Tolgate, Trichy.

Today i bought paalai miinnn Fish is fresh and taste good Price also affordable and wide varieties of fishes are available. Only thing is cleaning and cutting is not good, fish scale was not cleaned properly, organs also not cleaned well not satisfied I did cleaning in home Cutting person mistake Owner is too kind and humble

I have been a long standing customer for this shop. The have the best customer service and always on time on delivery. They keep us informed on the availability. All you have to do is send the order and location and we will recieve fresh fish to our home very minimal calling and I feel like a premium customer. GENUINE REVIEW... Must try for their quality... But Their Fish cutters don't have Good experience. I tried both Shop and online service. Based on that, I deducted 3 stars only because of their online delivery service. You have to hold phone in your hand around 2hours to place your order. Response for your order also not in a professional way. It's actually located outside from the city center. Traveling time takes around half an hour from the city center. So that people trying to place order in online but their delivery service is very poor.

Given very old fish at very high cost. Worst ship, please dont prefer. Avoid going here for sea fish. Selling rotten fish

Price compare to other shop very high but Shop clean and hygienic

Happened on Feb 8 :They will take orders for door delivery but will neither deliver the order nor let you know about the status of the order. The whole family has to starve and wonder if will they ever deliver it or not and they will call you around 1:30 Pm asking for the location. This happened twice and we cancelled the order and ordered food outside.Happened on March 8 : Called us, and checked us about the previous review we posted about the door delivery order issue last time and yelled on the call for the negative review we posted, and asked us not to place the order anymore. The franchise owner didn't even had the courtesy to investigate about what actually happened and failed to admit the miss on their side and blamed the entire situation on us, yelled over the call for more than 1/2 hour early in the morning . He stated me that I can post review even with his call recording in which he shouted in a disrespectful manner. I will repeat it here again your customer service is pathetic . By the way, we have been ordering here for the reputation of the ungal meenavan and not an irresponsible franchise like you who spoil the name of the brand. Just because you are the only one shop around the locality doesn't give you any authority to speak in this way to the customer. Learn customer service or quit serving the customers by giving false information stating 2 hour delivery.If you can't guarantee your service standards then stop door delivery service.Pathetic and disrespectful service.
