Meenakshi Cinemas - Movie theater in Avadi - Thiruvallur, India

One of the single screen theatres in Chennai which was renovated recently and comes under the banner of Ambatur Rakki cinemas. Around 700+ seats in this theatre with ample space for bike & car parking. They have 2 levels. Premium & Executive. Video & Audio quality is very good with high volume in few areas. The theatre was quite dark even in the interval time but for human eyes it's fine. Elders may find it difficult to navigate. Toilets are near and clean. I didn't try the snacks. Pricing of tickets is reasonable but I prefer a 10 or 20 less would be great. Overall a good theatre.

MEENAKSHI CINEMAS - A unit of Rakki Cinemas. Situated at Avadi , one of the best around that region. Single screen theatre newly renovated with 4K. Picture clarity is damn brilliant & awesome . Screen is clean and brand new. Sound effects are great too. Seats are also comfortable but space between 2 rows was low . A/C cooling could have been little higher. Snack prices are also reasonable. Parking for 2 wheelers :- Rs.10/-. Restrooms are cleanly maintained. Situated at a walkable distance from Avadi bus depot and Railway station. Definitely good theatre for the amount given. MUST VISIT !! Pros :- Great picture clarity Good DTS sound effects. Reasonable snack prices in canteen. Interior lighting & designs are good. Cons :- Space between 2 rows was low.

After rennovation its maintained well, now its the best screen at avadi...seats r all comfortabl, snacks available at moderate rates, its good... They tk order and serve to ur seat as well...popcorn quality can improvise better..please keep handwash n restrooms...Management shld continue to maintain same ambience and cleanliness going forward...good parking space..overall satisfied..

This theater was just okay before, but now it's pretty good. You should check out the balcony when you watch a movie for some better Movie experience.

It's so good with the newly renovated Meenakshi after years with 4k and dolby .. it's such a damn experience watching out the best movies.

Besstt theater in Avadi, but they are increasing the prices frequently. For big hero movies they increase the price from 110 to 190 for few weeks according to the fame of the hero and based on the move of the film. Before Renovation the prices of the snacks and beverages were more affordable comparing to now. Now also it is affordable comparing to other cinema halls. Normal ticket rate executive :130. Affordable parking rates. Choose seats in the middle rather than selecting in the last. Or go to top of the balcony

Good & descent theatre in Avadi.. It's one of the Rakki Group Showtime, Ticket rates, seats, Rest rooms, Ambience, 4K projection, Sounds all were good & Decent.
